The chairman doing nothing while also being the reason why the ghosts needed to cause misery was weak. A better setup would be having the ghosts existence tied to strong emotions and long ago they decided on misery to be their life source as misery & depression are long lasting while joy, (despite being stronger), is fleeting. The season final could have been Molly making a show of great positive energy to get her friend back and in the end a deal is made with the counsel. Scratch & Geoff end up becoming ghosts tied to positive energy instead of negative and Molly is tasked with keeping sustained joy in her town otherwise Scratch and Geoff will disappear forever.
It would be good setup for season two and make the ghost world feel more realistic. You could still have the ghost counsel be evil by making this deal as a form of cruelty believing that in the end life will beat Molly down making her less positive and as a result directly responsible for losing her friends.

It is my personal headcanon that because she became a wraith her ghost is now loose, like dislocating your shoulder, and whenever Molly cooms her ghost is goning to be forcibly ejected from her body in a literal example of La Petite Mort. Or, you know, whenever she experiences a surprise or intense feeling.

The only problem with him being dead is that if he was then he surely should have been mentioned during Libby's Bat Mitzvah like her grandparents were. But instead he got no mention what so ever. There seems to be a story there that's more than just him dying.
It would make more sense for a dead father to have his own distinction separate from grandparents but more likely they left it empty so they could figure out exactly what they wanted the situation to be
Yeah, that's what I had thought as well. They did sort of skip a bit during that ceremony. Maybe they wanted to keep the door open so they could tell whatever story they wanted to later on. We do know for sure we'll get an answer soon enough so that's another thing to look out for in season two.

I missed that bit. I listened for a bit but dropped it after it felt like it was mostly just those two fans talking about the finale. How did Dana mention vampires and did Bill or Bob comment on that? Either way, it would be interesting to see vampires in the series. I'm still kind of hoping The Chairman's existence was keeping the other monsters from wreaking havoc and now that he's gone those fellas are going to really start making a mess. While not really monsters or cryptids, we did see aliens once before so I kind of hope we see something like them again.

So that's what had happened. I caught the Italy part but it started to seem like the girls were talking them selves up again to take the stage from Dana and I left then. Sort of wish I had stuck around then. Oh well. Vampires is something I wouldn't have expected but it is cool. They did mention one of the early concepts was Molly and the count as the duo so maybe they can use some of the ideas from that time. I wonder how Bob and Bill felt about Dana starting the vampire talk.

Well, she didn't exactly do it intentionally but yeah, that is a thing now. I don't think we should really be concerned though. Especially with how her revenant works and still keeps her alive while she's gone. Especially since she's got full access to the ghost powers when her spirit is out. She can do a lot with that now I'd think.

I think its a red herring. The whole “coming back to life” stuff will be him becoming the new Chairman but for spreading joy instead of misery, going from a pathetic low level loser ghost to one of the most powerful and “alive” ghosts around.
I guess I can see that and it would sort of be satisfying to see a ghost who was called the "worst of the worst' become the new Chairman. Though, personally, I kind of liked the idea of Scratch coming back to life through Molly more as a symbolic thing rather than a literal thing. The found family thing I thought was strong enough on it's own and didn't really need him to literally change the kind of ghost he was for it. But I wouldn't entirely be opposed to it. Guess it depends on how it's done and why he does it. The only thing I'd want is for that Todd thing to only be a joke not actually be his remains. It just doesn't sound right and would cause it's own mess of problems.
It's sort of hard to tell. Bob and Bill have done Q&As before so I doubt that's all they will be doing at that panel. I'd hope they'd try and do something they could only do at a live panel. I'm expecting them to talk about the series so far and leave us with a hint or preview of the next season. I doubt it would happen but I'd like it if they went over some of their initial concepts for the show and some concept art in more detail. Do we know how long the panel may be or if they may put it online? I imagine someone will probably film it but it would be more convenient if there was something set up officially.

First of all the chairman wasn't death, he's the boss of all ghosts feeding on misery. The ghost world isn't hell either and molly's powers so far had only only worked on ghosts and in their world. Molly muerta is unable to fight luz or Anne Blanco
Molly Muerta is a ghost, using Scratch as a baseline, she could not only interact with the living world but wield powerful curse magic. Remember what Scratch did in Lucky Penny? Or anything else he's done? Scratch could fly fast enough to catch planes and hit a baseball hard enough it flew past the moon. Or the fact ghosts can summon tornados, blizzards and lightning. Molly could curse Luz and Anne no problems. She could haunt them and be literally untouchable and completely invisible to their senses And
lets not forget the fact she could possess them. She could hop inside Luz or Anne and take her for a joyride off a roof or make her scream the N-word and they would have no way to defend themselves.
If she had normal ghost powers the she would be a force to reckon with.
The other anon who said she was a wraith could potentially keep that from being a thing though.
If wraiths have the same abilities as standard ghosts then yeah Molly could likely beat other humans pretty easily.

But that does bring up an interesting question. How qould Molly, Libby and Andrea react? For Andrea the answercis obvious. As an e-celeb she would take the politically correct route and virtue signal but off stream in private I'd bet she'd disapprove. For Molly again the answer is obvious. So long as it makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone then she'd be nothing but supportive. Libby, though, I just can't say. I don't have a good enough grasp of her character to guess how she would feel about it.
But a common thing I've seen with fan interpretations of the three often put Molly and Andrea at opposite sides with Libby somewhere in the middle between the two. So I'd say that. Libby wouldn't care one way or the other.

He does seem to get a kick of of scaring and enjoys doing it. Sobgoblins just seem like huge jerks that everyone dislikes. Which shouldn't be too surprising considering they drain joy from everything and that can't be fun even if you are a ghost.
The only inconsistency I've seen so far is Scratch struggling to lift a chair when we've seen him do far more. However, he had an audience for the chair situation which leads me to believe that while maintaining stealth mode, i.e. invisible to people, his powers are greatly diminished

The chairman doing nothing while also being the reason why the ghosts needed to cause misery was weak. A better setup would be having the ghosts existence tied to strong emotions and long ago they decided on misery to be their life source as misery & depression are long lasting while joy, (despite being stronger), is fleeting. The season final could have been Molly making a show of great positive energy to get her friend back and in the end a deal is made with the counsel. Scratch & Geoff end up becoming ghosts tied to positive energy instead of negative and Molly is tasked with keeping sustained joy in her town otherwise Scratch and Geoff will disappear forever.
It would be good setup for season two and make the ghost world feel more realistic. You could still have the ghost counsel be evil by making this deal as a form of cruelty believing that in the end life will beat Molly down making her less positive and as a result directly responsible for losing her friends.
I disagree it's more "Realistic" but so far is a good setup

I missed that bit. I listened for a bit but dropped it after it felt like it was mostly just those two fans talking about the finale. How did Dana mention vampires and did Bill or Bob comment on that? Either way, it would be interesting to see vampires in the series. I'm still kind of hoping The Chairman's existence was keeping the other monsters from wreaking havoc and now that he's gone those fellas are going to really start making a mess. While not really monsters or cryptids, we did see aliens once before so I kind of hope we see something like them again.

I think its a red herring. The whole “coming back to life” stuff will be him becoming the new Chairman but for spreading joy instead of misery, going from a pathetic low level loser ghost to one of the most powerful and “alive” ghosts around.
I guess I can see that and it would sort of be satisfying to see a ghost who was called the "worst of the worst' become the new Chairman. Though, personally, I kind of liked the idea of Scratch coming back to life through Molly more as a symbolic thing rather than a literal thing. The found family thing I thought was strong enough on it's own and didn't really need him to literally change the kind of ghost he was for it. But I wouldn't entirely be opposed to it. Guess it depends on how it's done and why he does it. The only thing I'd want is for that Todd thing to only be a joke not actually be his remains. It just doesn't sound right and would cause it's own mess of problems.
It's sort of hard to tell. Bob and Bill have done Q&As before so I doubt that's all they will be doing at that panel. I'd hope they'd try and do something they could only do at a live panel. I'm expecting them to talk about the series so far and leave us with a hint or preview of the next season. I doubt it would happen but I'd like it if they went over some of their initial concepts for the show and some concept art in more detail. Molly could curse Luz and Anne no problems. She could haunt them and be literally untouchable and completely invisible to their senses And
lets not forget the fact she could possess them. She could hop inside Luz or Anne and take her for a joyride off a roof or make her scream the N-word and they would have no way to defend themselves.
Technically she's a wraith. It's unknown if wraiths have the same magic arts as ghosts.

I think sobogoblins are something everyone hates, though he wasnt scaring as often as the season went on so it was probably a coping mechanism.
He does seem to get a kick of of scaring and enjoys doing it. Sobgoblins just seem like huge jerks that everyone dislikes. Which shouldn't be too surprising considering they drain joy from everything and that can't be fun even if you are a ghost.

The only inconsistency I've seen so far is Scratch struggling to lift a chair when we've seen him do far more. However, he had an audience for the chair situation which leads me to believe that while maintaining stealth mode, i.e. invisible to people, his powers are greatly diminished
