I think it was confirmed that Chairman isn't going to talk.
For a while my prediction has been that Molly is thrown into the flow of failed phantoms and that disrupts it to the point ghosts are freed throughout Brighton, and Molly and Scratch are tasked with catching them all, Lilo and Stitch tv show style.
I like this one, it would explain the Jynx stuff from season 2.
They did confirm the status quo would change in some way.

I just think it's an easy way to change the status quo while not changing much, and also an easy way to avoid the Council punishing Scratch in the spot since they have no real reason to let him go after finding out about Molly. Though they could just suddenly grow a heart after Molly does a speech, but that's lame and I don't want it.

It's pretty bad numbers for a pemiere, but premiere ratings don't really matter. The more telling indicator of success is how well the show does with reruns, especially with kids out for summer now, so that Disney Channel and XD can pad out their schedule. The 4th of July marathon is a good sign, and XD shows a fair bit of reruns, but the main channel doesn't show Molly much love

Can you pull up a Disney XD schedule? It makes total sense why greens is on constant repeat. I go to a lot of kids Pizza parties and pretty much everytime they have BCG or TTG on in the background. TV cable channels are basically the new TV playing a movie on a stand. Just constant kiddie consumption marathons.
Meanwhile Disney XD is a slightly more "hardcore" audience so if Molly gets love there that would be interesting

I don't think so imo, Molly used to pull 200-300k (never dropping from the 200k like it is now) views. It was probably Disney's bizarre decision of the show having two hiatuses, splitting 1b into 5 - 5 episodes that might have hurt its viewership.

I think they only had that to show that Scratch was slacking off, to weirdly set up the Molly Scare episode which'll segue into the season finale, I mean I know it's cop-outish of me to say and he could've done scares off-screen.
Good point but I feel that him being a ghost doesn't factor in a lot of the time. Liek it's a little to focused of SOL and not on the ghosts, ironically I thought the same about GF and the Wendy plots getting in the way of the mystery.
Mind you this recent episode was the funniest one of the season.
To be fair, TGAMM's DNA is stuck in 2007-2009, like it was frozen in time so it'll be a SOL with little tidbits of continuity, which I'm okay with, I like Adventure of the Week stuff with character interactions.

FOP is actually a bad example since, like TGAMM, the focus is on wacky hi-jinks, with adventure stuff being saved for movies and specials. Plus their set ups are different.
And I'm 100% okay with that, the show doesn't treat you like an idiot because of the continuity or how a seemingly throwaway line will come back in a later episode.
It's a nice fun show and I think we need that, we don't need big ass lore dumps, or anything like that, a Lilo and Stitch plot for S2 could be fun.

Phineas and Ferb obviously. This show was a contender in the first half but, they lost steam from the Thai food episode until barely the Molly scaring episode. Maybe S2 will pick up the pace but, they lost a lot of track compared to even P and F's first 2 seasons.
