Lenny is part of more great bits, frankly I can only remember one funny bit where Carl was central to the joke but Lenny was not that. Second closest is the black carpool but even that's dragged down by the actual joke being less funny than the premise that they awkardly forced every black character in the Simpsons to just be in a pointless carpool.
I still cannot get over the fact they made an actual episode going to iceland to bring carl back, doubling down on a random throwaway line he said many seasons earlier about his icelandic childhood. Still feels like a fever dream episode.
