The Immortal Hulk

I stated reading this when the first trade hit, but I dropped it out of lack of interest. I later read issue 25 after seeing a good amount of hype, but was unimpressed.
In retrospect, was this a good run? Should I try again?

I'm curious too. I've heard it compared to Morrison's Bat Epic but the housestyle art is making it hard

There hasn’t been a worthwhile hulk comic since before anyone ITT was born.

It isn’t house style at all. Any of you homosexuals who say this don’t even know what the term means. There hasn’t even been a house style or style guide in over a decade, closer to two decades in all honesty.

Stop parroting shit you heard youtubers and podcasters say.

Guess it does have housestyle art then

Krakoa X-men comics had an x-house style

I didn't think much of Morrison's Bat Epic either.

Guess it does have housestyle art then

No, it's not house style. Not even nu-house style.
It's not the greatest, and the digital inking, or whatever finishing process was used, kind of ruins the pencils, but I like that it's pretty much all done by one artist.

Good run, but it has a lot of ups and downs. I'll admit the ending left me feeling a little hollow, but overall I look back on the ride fondly. Xemnu was the best arc.

      >housestyle art
What the hell are you smoking? Do you even know what those words mean?

It had some cool shit at the start but got worse over time current Hulk run is a lot better since it's actual spooky monster shit instead of moronic green door plotlines that never end.

It's great when it's focusing on Devil Hulk, Hulk, Harpy and The Leader, it's bad when it focus on anyone else.

I just really dislike Ewing's writing

It was decent when Devil Hulk was an antagonizing butthole to everyone but Bruce, but he just kind of turned into this softy for every oppressed character and his deceleration of "destroying the world" ended up boiling down to "frick corporations".
I still like the big Thing fight enough, and the Defenders crossover was decent.

It's time for a sexy Hulk and confident DILF Banner run where they work together as a team and get to be a real hero. Cinemaphilepe all you want you know I'm right.

yeah because turning every comic into gay porn is working really well for DC lol
