You see, Ray, in this world you either shit on people or get shit on. And I have IBS
second season is for gays, which is okay, but just know that it is
Season 2 is like an early morning jog in cold weather. Except you have no legs.

Season 1: First three episodes are kino tier, then the cracks start to show, and it gets weaker towards the end despite still being good overall
Season 2: First episode is kino tier, then it has a rough few episodes, then picks up hard midway through to the end culminating in a conclusion that outdoes season 1
>in a conclusion that outdoes season 1
le "every male dies so it's good" bugman
Despite its problems I like it because every character is morally, emotionally and mentally rotten to the fricking core, and I fricking love how dark the story goes, although in a different way than the first season
>I like it because every character is morally, emotionally and mentally rotten to the fricking core
the irony is it's the opposite
these are good men/women trying to overcome the harsh brutal situation of reality and attempting overcoming it and survive
Way I see it, they have a few redeeming qualities like ray caring for his kid or vaughns character loving his wife and being nice to that kid whos father got killed, but still they will drop that in a minute to being violent and deranged pieces of shit if they are required to or maybe if they just feel like it
it's called living in the real world you naive reddit homosexual
Yeah coz everyone goes to the forest to do a heist in the middle of the forest to steal millions of dollars and kill like a dozen guys in the process, go touch some grass you fricking moron dweeb you aint the badass you think you are you frank castle gay wanna be
>dweeb
> I like how every character is a rotten piece of shit.
Ehh, that’s kind of what made it boring anon. If every character is the same no one will stand out because of it. The reason why season 1 worked so well with Marty and rust is because they were essentially polar opposites. One was masquerading as a family man but was really just a piece of shit, while one was a nihilistic pessimist but had moral values still worth upholding.
Season 1: Lovecraft
Season 2: Ellroy
Season 3: Lehane
This is a good explanation of why Season 1 is the best and why season 3 is the most forgettable.
season 2 had its moments. I definitely prefer it over season 3
shall not bother with season 4 2bh
s2 was kino af ong
we should just have a true detective general at this point
Season one was great because it had great acting and characters and an incredible atmosphere and tone. Season two had nothing. It's purely the contrarian choice. It's not even as funny as the first season.
Vince posting is the funniest thing the series ever produced. That's why people keep pretending to like s2. They're trying to encourage more of it from people who are clever enough to do so
or maybe he's just rust-tier and you're trying too hard
i love season 2. everything that makes up film noir crammed into one season of tv--every trope, cliche, etc. it's great
OP, oh OP...
your thread stopped getting bumped way back in page 10
You see Ray, it says it takes one to know one, but if I'm no one then who do I know?
for me, it's eating rachel's ass for breakfast and dinner
Haven't watched s2 since it released and hated it. I think I'll give it another to after the dumpster fire that is s4 wraps up. Maybe it's not as bad as I remember
its great bro - too many people came off s1 with that in their heads
it's proven to be a top-tier season
>Look mom, I posted it again!
contrarians don't watch star wars
No fun allowed
