I think at this point we have to accept the character was never going to be treated as a cosmic force. Technically his first appearance is just showing up in Billy’s montage and getting his ass whooped by one kick in the same song where Billy fights a giant floating teddy bear
so many adventure time threads!!!! it's 2010 again!!!
The Lich is________
a b***h
a lil b***h
He so strong
The floating teddy bear looked more menacing
>The implication that the bear was the harder fight since Billy needed his sword
I cant understand why or how but I find the Lich attractive and a little sexy, I wish he wanted to touch me with those giant arms and make me feel a world of pleasure that only a monster like him can do.
Huh
Really makes you think, huh?
I wish it was Cake. Fricking annoying ghetto dweller selfish c**t.
Well she's a cat and just recently became sapient. She's doing relatively well for such a drastic adjustment.
Wasn’t this episode made before they got heavy on the lore shit and AT was just whacky adventures? I mean the princess he’s saved from fire ice king looked like she was going to be a relative of PB.
>Wasn’t this episode made before they got heavy on the lore shit and AT was just whacky adventures?
The Lich was originally supposed to be one of the few serious things in the show, or at least that's how the character bible presents him.
losing to a kick is quite serious
I think at this point you need to accept that Adventure Time was supposed to be a silly cartoon ironically set in a post apocalyptic world but shippers and manchildren demanded more serious shit that ruined this show.
IT'S NOT FAIR! WHY DIDN'T BILLY GET MORE SCREENTIME?! HE'S AN INTEGRAL PART OF OOO'S HISTORY, PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN INSPIRING FINN TO BE A HERO, KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THE LICH, AND HAS A COOL DESIGN AND VOICE!
Is Lou Ferrigno expensive?
Sadly no, Lou’s a really good guy too. Also that’s why they make the one time he fought a bear bit in Billy’s song because in the old Incredible Hulk show Lou really did fight a bear while in green make up as the Hulk.
>Evil lich deathman, a compelling antagonist to a series that's about wild, reckless life
>is revealed to be the magical incarnation of a not!nuclear bomb, a living avatar of armageddon and a past that continues it's evil long into today
>lolwaitnope he's a simp for a blind idiot god
>and here's him jobbing some more
What a hero Billy is.
>no don't turn me into a Tetris block aiiiiiieeeeeeeeee
More like the Jobber.
Fionna world's Lich is My Wife and she is adorable
BILLY!
the lich is infinitely more effective as the guy who just barely says anything but is completely dead set in his goals rather than going on fricking monologues every episode
You know. It's kinda weird we don't see more heroes/adventurers aside from Finn and Jake. You would think that a DnD inspired world like Ooo would be full of them and there'll be like a "unions of adventuring" building in every kingdom
>there'll be like a "unions of adventuring" building in every kingdom
I hate that trope
>Finn and Jake find out that they need to have adventurer's licences to adventure in Ooo
>entire episode is just them standing in line at the Department of Manly adVenturers while a bunch of cool shit happens in the background
What about Sir Slicer? Who in hindsight was right about Finn’s fate as a loser
He has a cool set of armor but he is kinda of a weird loser. He just spends the entire episode stalking a twelve year old boy and is too weak to even properly wear his armor without the aid of a horse.
>He's Finn the blushing baby / His cheeks are bright and red! / Be sure to make fun of him before you go to bed!"
>Grandfathers will sing that to their grandchildren for generations to come!
He’s very prophetic and had a right to mock a kid who get embarrassing himself
Well sure, but DnD did basically codified that trope and given Adventure Time is inspired by DnD campaigns, it wouldn't be that weird.
>unions of adventuring
Way to make the setting incredibly cliche and gay
