Because The Loud House is boring and a grounded conflict wouldn't make for an entertaining movie for kids. But they also must've run out of ideas to have resorted to a spy movie parody already.
it was just anh but with p&f characters thrown in with the rest of the movie happening in the backround
somehow managed to be more inspired that tfa despite this the death star exploding when they were mid conversation got a laugh out of me, i'll admit

said, it was like that Tom & Jerry Willy Wonka "adaptation" in that it was almost beat for beat the original movie, just with new characters (Phineas and Ferb's cast in this case) shoehorned in at times. And like
I hate how Myrtle is giving her own section of the poster. I fricking hate all the old people in TLH focus on the sisters already for fricks sake
NTA but yeah that was blatantly disney flexing that they now owned star wars when that premiered
said, it was an excuse to show off that Disney had just acquired Star Wars. In all, I would say it was pretty creatively bankrupt.
This. Also using Mirttle's past as an excuse to the staff as a means of continuity connected to the series.
Why can’t they just use their imaginations more often?
It has been 8 years since its premiere and many things have happened; not only the series but also the talent/staff behind the franchise.
Easy, it's an excuse to put the girls in Bond girl clothes.
Imagine that. If we already had them in superhero costumes (Full House Gang), now with superspies suites...but is a dream

It's an acceptable criticism in itself; but they still use it to highlight the 'continuity' of Pop Pop the Question.
Wasn’t there supposed to be movie where the Louds go to space?
It could be its 3rd project, however recently Big City Greens has released its film with the same theme and that would be a creative conflict: Or is it a coincidence of both or one copied from the other but did not have time to finish it, etc. ?
Or what we saw focused first on space but somehow they found out that Disney was on that path and decided to change some details.

In a 'suspicious' observation of all this, I think they do it in order to also reinforce the issues of the world of spies in Lincoln's interests (if not it's a more 'possible' means of action than the world of superheroes, which is bordering on ridiculous).
Because it's a parody of James Bond, more specifically the campyness of the 60s movies.
Reminds me of the spy trend of the late 2000s, focusing on the more kid friendly aspects like going on globetrotting adventures, cool gadgets, disguises, and cartoonish supervillains, ignoring the less wholesome aspects like violence, heavy drinking and rampant sex.
As a kid, I wanted to be a spy, but in real life it's probably really boring.
It's kinda insane that Loud House has been on the air for nearly a decade. >7 seasons >Two films >Two spin-offs, three films total between those spin-offs >More to come
It's not really surprising that a franchise this old with such a limited concept had to eventually delve into magic and spies to artificially extend its life.
Say what you will about SpongeBob but that show was way more flexible with what you can reasonably get away with without it feeling too far removed from its original concept.
>It's not really surprising that a franchise this old with such a limited concept had to eventually delve into magic and spies to artificially extend its life.
The thing is that the concept isn't limited. They had such a large cast since the beginning, yet still avoided exploring so much.
There's tons of potential with the amount of sister/brother/parent combinations

The lack of any exploration possibly has something to do with the one guy who experienced living in a large family being fired from his own show
There is no excuse for the way the writers have sidelined the sisters in recent years. The whole point of TLH is the sisters the fact that they have taken a back seat to all these other shittier characters like the action news team is unforgivable
Redditbob is not some sort of magic swiss army knife cartoon. It's popular simply because it straddles the line of a Nicktoon and Nick Jr show and always has.
Because they run out of ideas and hiring good writers isn't an option. Tlh still has some potential on their own, but we will see first an skibidi toilet episode before something good
Also to keep franchise alive and make it a valid product for Nick as well as Bobsponge.
We could get an Ace Savvy and Full House Gang movie but unfortunately Kings of the Con was so awful that the writers decided to remove LIncoln's interest in Ace Savvy and have him being very interested in David Steele who is a spy.
It's a shame. The ace savvy stuff prior to that was really nice.

Cause why not? Also in the show Lincoln does have a love for doing spies stuffs.
Spy stuff has always been a great way to insert fetishes into a toon
>shota bondage
I will now watch your movie.
Eesh.
They ran out of ideas

Would you call the star wars parody in phineas and ferb uncreative

I havent seen that episode
Didn't we had this exact thread already a couple weeks ago?
Easy, it's an excuse to put the girls in Bond girl clothes.
Superheroes is next after this.
Wasn’t there supposed to be movie where the Louds go to space?
I think you’re thinking of the ‘Big City Greens’ movie.
If they make a 3th cartoon movie, it would be about the rest of the Loud Family.
I think they need to get some "movie writers" involved. It would probably be an upgrade, the show writers can just barely do a full movie.
Campy spy thriller is a great theme for cartoons
Should be used more often

where is the full movie file. someone admitted to having it.
I can't wait till Lincoln becomes a spy and has to murder his sister for the CIA before she can spread a new limitless clean energy source.
Haileytonium?
To make relevant the main male character, cause hes onto comics, superhero and spies shit.
