Is this accurate? Women seem to despise the archetype nowadays.

I'll never understand the furor over MPDGs.

Just look at media women like:
        >Normal-looking HS girl has a vampire protector boyfriend
        >Nurse time-travels to date a Scottish lord
        >Mousy college girl dates a BDSM billionaire

And the extent of male fantasies is usually just "guy has a girlfriend who is quirky and pleasant to be around" or "guy goes on adventure with a cool tomboy".

Normie women actually call girls who have hobbies or act nice to guys "pickmes". Acting like having a pleasant personality or interest is cheating at the dating game. It's pretty lol.

They feel threatened by the younger cooler funnier girl, that's why the whole "you're 30 date someone your age". But falling for the initially hyper compatible girl is stupid too, I've seen men destroy their marriages just to end up alone (watch Anomalisa).

Women will also shit on any girl who puts an effort, since they depend on the collective agreement of passivity for it to work. Imagine if half the women started to be active in dating, why would a man choose one that just expects things from them without giving anything back? They call these girls "pick mes".

Women have an instinct to become what a man desires. The capacity to actualize male fantasies is the basis for the entire female social hierarchy. This is why women browse here while virtually no male poster is interested in crystal cafe or the alternatives. Because they are fascinated by what men desire. Because they have an instinctive need to actualize these desires into reality.

The MPDG as a trope therefore commits two cardinal sins:
    >it is an ideal women find uncomfortable to emulate
    >A low value male is the one presenting the ideal

Thus the only women who do emulate the MPDG are BPD women, because their extreme fear of abandonment overwhelms the natural revulsion they otherwise feel. But they can't keep up the charade for long. Sooner or later the real personality of the BPD woman emerges. Which is why lots of men don't like the trope either, because after being in a relationship with a BPD woman you cannot help but associate the entire trope as a mask concealing the monster beneath.

doesnt do anything to women, they just dont like seeing men happy.
it does harm men thoughever because it tricks the inexperienced into believing women are capable of being truly unique. it serves as a genesis of simps, and leaves them vulnerable to bpdemons and grifters

it's why i cant stand watching moe anime and just about anything else that idealizes women. its nothin but fake ass shit that makes my skin crawl.

My first serious relationship was an MPDG that I had known since we were younger than 10. She looked me up after highschool and we reconnected and she was like Natalie Portman in Garden State.
Then when we moved in together it became "sit down, shut the frick up and be glad you know me." She had sprung a BPD trap.
I broke up with her after two months. It was insufferable. Everything was a massive fight and she would cause scenes in public over perceived social slights.

The vast majority of women simply want to be bitter, miserable c**ts that drag everyone else around them down, and want to be congratulated for it.
Women are basically like the shitty boards on Cinemaphile. They WANT to be miserable. Complaining is their hobby, making everyone else miserable is what they do for FUN.

A group at Harvard did a study and discovered that women are happiest when the men in their lives are miserable.

      >men and women belong together
right until your sweetie of 10 years decides shes gonna ruin your life forever.

Nah man. Your halfhearted appeal to antisemitism isnt disguising you for the basedboy that you surely are. Theres a social imbalance between the genders which benefit women vastly more than they benefit men, and youd do well to have that on the back of your mind. The thing that you call "gender wars" is really just the collective realization that men get the short end of the stick. Im completely fine with having a tougher life because that means i will have a more fulfilling life as well, but women WILL abuse their privileged status and will walk all over you if you let them. Everything falls on men and women are absolved of any accountability, and they're even allowed to kill their offspring in lieu of accountability in some parts of the world. Imagine if men were the ones who'd have to give birth? Would anyone ever champion abortion? OR would it be universally recognized as the despicable and coward act it is?

Women take mens suffering for granted. You shouldnt be with someone that doesnt appreciate your effort and your sacrifices. I have mostly nothing against women as people (though i do think theyre mostly dumb), but woman isnt just a gender, its a title.

Eternal Sunshine and 500 Days of Summer are basically anti manic pixie dream girl films and aren't bad, they're both wonderful movies. That being said I'm so sick of people shittin on the manic Pixie dream girl, mean should be allowed to have desires and fantasies too.

It's more of a Gen X and Millennial thing actually.

Boomers paired off with people because they were looksmatched and because getting married and starting families was just what you did. My parents have hated each other as long as I can remember but never divorced.

Millennials were raised to expect great things. That everyone would have a cushy office job if they went to college. That the future would be great. And your mate should be someone interesting to talk to, someone who can fight by your side, someone who brings out the best in you.

      https://i.imgur.com/3musKpt.png

      >The manic pixie dream girl is a sexist trope that harms women by catering to the male fantasy of a mate that is interesting and pleasant to be around.
Is this accurate? Women seem to despise the archetype nowadays.

The subtext of Manic Pixie Dream Girls is that you can have the good parts of a BPD gf(high sex drive, willing to ask you out first, molds herself to your hobbies, vivaciousness, etc) without the bad ones(turning on you like a wild animal randomly, hordes of exes and "guy friends" gunning for you, etc).

Or at the very least, you can fix her with a little patience and love. Which you'd think would a sentiment women would try to encourage over the (correct) belief that BPD women are monsters who destroy the lives of everyone around them.

You can just as easily argue that the way that criticism is applied is even more sexist than the trope itself is supposed to be. Reducing every eccentric female character in fiction to some sort of fantasy object with no interior world seems to have more to do with policing femininity than anything else.
