>the marketing makes it seem like it's a Keaton Batman movie
>he's only in it for about 40 minutes and his part ends with him being brutally killed on screen twice in the span of 3 minutes
>write him out of the ending completely where it would have shown that the character survived in favor of a meme punchline
And they're surprised this thing has a B CinemaScore? Shades of The Last Jedi.

LETS GET NUTS
The Last Jedi had an A on Cinemascore.
That makes the Flash look even worse.
The Last Jedi was at least liked by contrarians and wokey jokeys. Flash has Ezra and wokey jokes are frothing at the opportunity to lynch his ass.
Bruce Wayne? Why are you dressed up like Batman?
Unlike most people, I went in actually wanting to like the movie. It just wasn't very good.
I thought Keaton hated capeshit and being asociated with Batman? Now I won't be able to rewatch Birdman knowing this fraud did a few Marvel movies on top of taking the Batman role again all after this movie aired. I feel robbed.
Birdman was a cultural criticism, not a Batman criticism
Yeah about capeshit culture yet he accepted roles in capeshit movies
i can't watch anything with him ever again. he's a hypocrite who ruined his legacy
sorry to break it to you but actors are and will always be just paid liars. Learn to enjoy your movies without overthinking things dude
it's true. keaton always would've grabbed the paycheck but they probably never offered him batman again until now
Someone post the picture of Keaton's batman in the canceled batgirl movie. He was with jk Simmons Gordon I think? The costume looked better there than in flash
Wait they really kill Keaton Batman in this?
You watched those trailers where he was in the midst of a battle scene featuring Kryptonians and without any kind of powersuit and thought he would survive?
He's Batman. The character with the most ridiculous plot armor of all time. That's a stupid move on their part.
>WB: Ha-Ha! Just kidding, it's not a Burtman movie, it's actually an awkward comedy with a lot of cringe humor! Btw, hope you don't mind that we murdered your childhood hero for a joke. Ha-ha! We already got your money!
>no one goes to see it
>WB: ...shit
He dies?? 31 years and they just murder him off? Lmao!
His death was in the trailer...
Almost every frame with Batman is in the trailer.
>bad things happening to a character I like is unacceptable
pure manchild behavior
You'd have to be a manchild to be interested in seeing a comic book movie in the first place
hi. manchild.
Well, yes. I post on Cinemaphile and watch comic book movies. Nice to meet you too, manchild.
gotcha.
Did we just become best friends?
who the frick gives a shit about CinemaScore
>it is the year of our lord, 2023
>people are still asspained about Last Jedi which came out in 2017
confirmed for kino that filters midwits
they wouldn't even kill Bale Batman at the end of DKR when it would've made sense but they kill off Keaton's Batman? why even bother bringing him back at all
It's bizarre because the entire movie is about as serious as a Naked Gun film, except for that scene where Batman and Supergirl get brutally murdered over and over. It's tonal whiplash and it just leaves you waiting for a punchline that never comes. Very, very strange movie.
why can't they take The Flash seriously? why does he have to be a comedy character?
I actually think it was almost a really good movie, but I think the film suffers because of stuff that was clearly cut out of the last 30 minutes of the film. I have a feeling the director didn't have much say in the matter.
>the film suffers because of stuff that was clearly cut out of the last 30 minutes of the film
1000%. There exists a good cut of this movie, I guarantee it. I bet the stuff they removed were scenes that set up future movies that will now never happen (like Batgirl). So much of Batman and Supergirl's story seems unfinished. There's clearly missing scenes and when they removed them they didn't replace them with scenes that make narrative sense.
>it's a multiverse movie bro, nothing actually matter bro because there's an i finite number of universes bro, so if anyone dies we'll just find another one, this was Keatonman from Earth14352-b, the one from Batman Returns was from Earth14357-w, literally nothing matters bro.
Also Cavill Supes was murdered as a baby by Zod.
The movie should have either been a serious comic book movie, or the uber-silly Taika Waititi-esque movie they were sometimes going for. But one second you're seeing Barry 2 act like Beavis and Butthead's 4th cousin, the next second Supergirl is screaming in agony over the death of her infant cousin. They should have picked a tone and stuck with it.
There is a univers that went full feminist where even superman is a women, and it proves itself over and over again that these feminist fail horrobly. What did they mean by this?
Best scene, cage.
Haha
t. gave up on Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, everything made past 2005 anon
nostalgiashit in a nutshell:
>Modern movie: nostalgia!
>consumer: nostalgia?
>Modern movie: your childhood 🙂
>consumer: ooh, really? Let me see
>Modern movie: your childhood... is dead!! Ha-Ha
>consumer: 🙁
Gunn decided to alter the ending. Clooney was his idea.

hey post some webms of this piece of shit, I've seen 3 and were all complete garbage
>complains about Flash being sidelined by Batman
>movie comes out
>it's actually a Flash movie, Batman is a secondary character
>complains about it
The eternal Cinemaphile
lmao nobody in the world would have complained about The Autistic Spazman being sidelined by Keaton Batman.
>Shades of The Last Jedi.
Not really. Unlike Luke, this isn't exactly Keaton from Burtonverse. This version was created when Burtonverse and Snyderverse merged, but by the end of the movie Burtonverse had split.
This is true, but that isn't how the average person watching the film is going to interpret it. The advertising wants you to think it's "muh childhood!" and the movie doesn't do much to dissuade you from that.
>Burtonverse and Snyderverse
do they call it that in the movie?
its an ok movie. they can always bring back Keaton man anyway.
Maybe I'm the manchildest of manchildren, but Batman dying, being killed, always ALWAYS rubs me the wrong way. Worse than any other super hero or action movie guy biting it. I don't know why, but it makes me actually seethe.
Nothing wrong with an old character earning a heroic death, but it must be earned. Flash doesn't earn anything.
