Maybe Ego? I didn't see GotG2
Black Widow's Harvey Weinstein
MCU has tried to do sympathetic villains this a ton this phase, but you have absolutely moronic ones like the flagsmashers and wanda. meanwhile they tried to demonize guys like Walker for dong nothing wrong. I think Taika will get it right tho.
>but you have absolutely moronic ones like the flagsmashers and wanda.
Wanda was actually based in a way, and she wasn't really treated as sympathetic. She was refreshingly incredibly selfish and arrogant and simply killed anyone that got in her way.
But god damn did I hate the flagsmashers. Pissed off that they were ideologically portrayed as being in the right, and that the only bad thing they supposedly did was that they used violence. Frick off with that shit, I wanted someone to actually trash their ideology itself and make a case for why nations are a good thing, why they are idealistic beyond reason, and that most people don't agree with them.
Also Falcon's speech at the end was moronic for obvious reasons. "muh don't call the terrorists terrorists!!"
>Wanda was actually based in a way, and she wasn't really treated as sympathetic. She was refreshingly incredibly selfish and arrogant and simply killed anyone that got in her way.
The odd thing about is that she WAS more or less objectively in the right, and was only going about it the wrong way. The one time we unironically have a villain doing nothing wrong the movie treats her as a monster. It's fricking strange.
You're talking about MoM. In WV, they writer was a hack feminist that clearly tried to cover Wanda's ass by assassinating other characters. Thank God the MoM guy didn't give a shit.
>muh ignored prayers
Gorr's motivations made him come across as an r/atheism poster even at the most favorable of times, but given the MCU gods are essentially just aliens his hatred of them is going to seem especially moronic and petty. I mean, frick, the gods can't even stop themselves from being wiped out. Are you really going to blame them for your stupid family dying? I can't see any logical way they're going to be able to take the sympathetic angle without it coming across as him being a whiny moron who doesn't understand the scale of the universe.
Please have some sympathy, Gorr is mentally ill and needs proper mental health access instead of being murdered. Arkham Asylum would be a great place for Gorr to get the care he needs.
homie looking zesty af
>the most sympathetic villains they've had
Ew
Gorr Did Nothing Wrong
>the most sympathetic villains they've had
They've done this in every MCU movie

Actually it's Doctor Strange.

Ha, you're funny.
>There's nothing wrong about murdering a child to steal her power

How many writers did Wandavision have because it felt sort of incoherent like it didn't know what the frick it wanted to do
>Also Falcon's speech at the end was moronic for obvious reasons. "muh don't call the terrorists terrorists!!"
Congratulations, you got filtered.

When the FRICK is it Songbirds turn
Hopefully Thunderbolts but who knows if they're just going to make it all the edgy millitary characters they've introduced like people keep assuming
.
I'm bumping just so more people can laugh at 131312959
Im SO sure Gorr will have the same level of thirst Loki generated after Avengers.
Loki is a witty long-haired pretty boy with a British accent.
Gorr... Isn't.
>tested the highest
and this is a selling point...?
ITS GORGIN TIME
Nobody likes atheists.
T. atheist. this shit is gonna flop.
Wouldn't he be an antitheist?
People don't know there's a difference , like at all.
back when the trailer was released everyone called him "atheist" Bale.
>Entire scene where Gorr demonstrates his intellectual prowess talking Thor into questioning his existence
I might have to check em after all
>the most sympathetic villains they've had
>an atheist
>sympathetic villain
Code phrase for "whiny b***h".
just like you!
Wow, you're so clever. I bet it took you a lot of effort to come up with that joke.
not as much effort as it takes you to whine about it
Yeah reading his backstory and when he spent like 100 hundred years torturing Thor in the future I felt super sympathetic like damn poor little guy
>tested the highest
I always knew these were souless driven by executives shlock but this is getting sad at this point.
