Wouldn't those monkeys be dead today regardless?
For a shitty old film that nobody saw or wants to see. What a pointless waste.
>that nobody saw
on release, it was the second highest grossing film of all time, after ET. it is one of the most famous horror films of all time.
>or wants to see
not everyone is a blubbering pussy anon. would you like a tampon?
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
NOT THE HECKIN MONKERINOOOOOOO
THE WHOLESOME ARM RIPPING FACE EATING FRIENDOOOOOO
What did a monkey ever do to you?
>What did a monkey ever do to you?
Committed arson, theft and murder because another monkey died of drugs.
One banged his mother or he wouldn't be here
That explains a lot.
BMTkino
What if they used every part of the animal and let nothing go to waste though?
And how do we know the monkeys didn't want to die?
Uma delicia.
^
Didn't the natives they hired as extras eat monkeys anyway? Who gives a shit? This is like getting butthurt at Napoleon Dynamite because Uncle Rico was always eating steak.
>christcuck morality brainwashed the west so badly that they feel bad for literal monkeys
slave morality moment
Give it to me straight is this movie actually shocking gore kino or is anything involving humans fake as shit but with live actual animals being killed frequently in the movie, thus earning the movie its controversial status for all the wrong reasons?
Actually the scenes involving humans were so convincing and the lead actors kept such a low profile afterwards to build up hype and make it seem more authentic that the filmmakers were literally put on trial in their home country. I don't think it looks particularly convincing but apparently the Italian government at the time did.
That gangrape was very convincing
Right, interesting. I would like to watch it one day, as I have watched many other extreme horrors. But I don't know if I'd have the stomach for it at the moment. Wasn't there something controversial about the stake scene as well? Other than how visually graphic that particular image is.
The stake scene was the one that they thought was real. They had to demonstrate how they did it.
It's not that shocking if you've seen other exploitation shit but it's a pretty solid movie.
The best part of it is the main theme
That rape scene was a little too realistic huh
Cannibal Holocaust is kino and still filters redditors to this day. Real horror.
People who have a problem with killing a animals in this film should also have a problem with every cooking shower ever recorded.
Typo in post, argument invalidated. Sorry bud.
Haha, he meant show not shower. Em-bar-ra-ssing
>that one scene where they cut off the girl's vegana
When is it too gory?
Sex with cute Amazonian teens!
What a crazy time to be making and/or watching movies. The director was based. In an interview I watched he was just like
>I don't understand what the big deal was. The movie made a lot of money. I would do it again today.
The DVD comes with an "animal cruelty free" cut, which seems kinda pointless to me.
