eggman is more like Dr Gero realistically, even if they operate at different scales
Eggman is Gero if Gero hadn't been cucked out of his funding by Goku.
Eggman is more or less a fusion between Frieza and Gero. He has a Frieza qualities with him sitting in a flying mobile and having an empire and wanting to conquer all, but he's also an evil genius like Gero who is out to destroy the protag with his machines.
