She's actually older than him too. He's remembered for being Ron Swanson, but Ron was actually supposed to be the "joke" conservative caricature, but just like with Rorschach, people actually respected and liked them do to their morals and convictions. Moore was pissed that everyone liked Rorschach.

Of course all of this is lost on Hollywood, so they never learn from this.

And all it took for him to be happy was a gay relationship he never would have attempted before the apocalypse because he was an anti-social chud.
Really makes ya wonder why chuds always beg for the end of the world. Big think.

Oh, Moore was pissed for a lot of reasons. He always is. Nothing is ever good enough for him, despite being some what of a hack himself.

My bad, the distinction gets blurred often in media. Either way, he wasn't supposed to be so popular, but Offerman sold the character really well.

it was, he was great. By the last season the show became yet another propaganda shoving machine. Exactly the same happened to 30Rock.

Moore hated people who idolized the autocratic solipsism that Rorschach embodied you're simplifying things by saying he hated people who like him period. Its the same reason you're supposed to hate tyler durden; he is right in some ways but his actions arent justified.

The fact is Rorschach is the only one who held ot his principles even if it meant death and that was a deliberate choice. It Mirrors the theme of "good" people who were willing to be complacent in an atrocity if the ends served the means and as far i know that was moore's intention

I swear some of you have the media literacy of children and all you losers do is consume media

Moore literally said in interviews that Rorschach is the only character who comes close to a hero in the entire story. So he clearly does understand the appeal

The alternatives are passive sex freaks like nite owl and Laurie who are ok wit standing by while millions are killed by a megalomaniacal butthole without punishment.

          Or Veidt. Said insane “genius”.

People often say Rorschach is a hypocrite because he says Truman was a good man and did the right thing in nuking Hiroshima but he’s horrified at Veidt destroying New York...

Except that’s not the same at all. Truman didn’t lie about what happened and blame someone else. He even leafleted the areas before hand to tell them to evacuate because a crazy new bomb was gonna hit, and warned Japan to surrender before he dropped it.

The fact that Rorschach is pretty clear on how much he hates New York and the people living there. Yet is the only one who wants justice for them when they’re slaughtered. Should show he’s the only true hero

for the record i think the themes in watchmen are pretty surface level hence why i mock morons like you who are too dumb to understand something so plain

It was a well-acted and heartfelt story, but did not tie into the overarching plot of the series in any meaningful way, and it deprived us of all of the action that goes on in the game to get that vehicle. I suspect it was largely a budgetary decision. They can only have so many big action set pieces in the season.

Regardless, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Decent episode, not the second coming of gay jesus everyone is making it out to be, also not complete woke trash that other people are making it out to be. I felt a few feels, but was also a little disappointed and couldn't help but feel like Bill was a little wasted on this.

If the actually pretty good (and only sentimental) episode of the show worries you, people will forget about it soon. It's just the "best thing to ever happen" this week. Nobody's attention span is very long anymore and the insane free marketing all of these sites are doing under painfully obvious virtue signaling will eventually cease.
I liked the episode but I just hate all these articles and claims that feel insanely inorganic. I mean inorganic not in that HBO paid everyone to say these things, either, I mean that people are saying it because it's just the thing to say right now. It's all so hollow, but maybe it always has been, it's just that now it's more obvious than ever.
Coincidentally, I only see these articles here and never out in the wild. So maybe you homosexuals should just stop being a service cog in the brain-drain machine, yeah?
