No need to be scared. The amount of fat girls with Jack Skeleton merchandise vs. autistic spergs with Family Guy merch is reasonably questionable.

Does family guy even has merch? That sounds something that should exist but I don't think I ever saw it.

Not so much anymore but it did due to nostalgia and had a resurgence when it returned before people hated the changes.

I remember seeing those corny ass “damn you vile woman” and “freakin sweet” tshirts in like target and shit back in the early 2000s and maybe like family Guy pint glasses or something but it was never heavily merchandised. I’m sure you can find like a stewie or Brian plush at six flags or whatever but I don’t see much outside that anymore unless it’s just not crossing my path.

God damn, I want one of those (ironically) so bad. This almost goes toe to toe with Bart operation desert storm but there is this sincerity behind it that really makes it worth it.

Yeah, I had this shirt in 2004-5 and by the time the show returned I was embarrassed by it and stop wearing it. It was straight up lol random moronation when it returned, hated it and only seen a handful of episodes since.

Almost EGOT is a good way to describe Seth

And he doesn't work on animation anymore, doesn't even write for his own shows too. For what I heard his shit still good too, at least that star trek "inspired" show often receives good criticism.

Gets me kinda curious to see how a modern Seth show would look like, not only because he is oldschool left and from the time the PC ideas today were Non-PC and most of his writing that is purposely offensive clashes with the modern face of his own ideology that tries as hard as it can to not offend anyone that ins't "le evil", he is also kinda this relic of this really specific time frame that isn't as well represented today.

Now I really want a new Seth animated show just to see how it would end up but I know we will never get it since he is too busy sucking dick and getting his ass milked or whatever the frick the Hollywood people are allowed to do today without getting the twitter mob angry.

Well actually I guess Groening could be considered more of a cartoonist. Idk if he ever did any animation on his own now that I think about it
So that begs the question who was the more successful cartoonist, Groening or Schultz?

He's not an animator. He hasn't animated anything since college. I don't think he even draws anymore.

Road to the multiverse is basically a proto episode of rick and morty. I have my doubts is directly inspired but is a really popular episode of the show and really similar, so they are not really wrong in making the comparison.
