It's like when they completely change up the second season of a popular show and make it pozzed as frick.
Seems to be a pattern in Hollywood. It’s like a bait and switch / Trojan horse. They throw out a bunch of goyslop like gooey spaghetti to what sticks, then when they identify a product gaining popularity organically they spread their black claws and descend on it, holding it down in an iron grip and with their razor sharp teeth like hideous goblins tear it to pieces and poison it with a hefty dose of globohomo, often commensurate with the scope of the products organic popularity. This is done until the movie or show is mangled beyond recognition like a zombie rising from a witches pet semetary. This is increasingly done in the most blinding and hamfisted ways to a point where even normies can’t deny it any longer in all its drunken brazenness.

I mean why not use regular Thor and regular Hulk and regular Hawkeye, they are all still around and way more popular than their sidekicks.

Captain America: show did ok with Bucky, without Bucky let's see
Ironheart: can't sell in comics
Mighty Thor: dead
Black Widow: movie did OK with ScarJo, she's an unknown
Hawkeye: low rated show WITH Renner. Without him untested
She-hulk: really low ratings
Black Panther: movie broke even (barely)
Ms Marvel: really low ratings
Yeah seems like it can't miss

Yeah but it's because they are way more popular. Recast the actors with the same characters like they have been doing with Batman, Superman, Spider-man, etc. instead of using new characters.
I don't think recasting will work. I think it only works for Batman because they recast after only two films and then recast again after the third. There's also the fact that the Batman films all had different tones so it was easier for people to accept.
The MCU actors have been in so many films that those actors have ownership of the characters now and even if they did recast it would still be in the MCU to e making the new actors look like imposters.

Watched The Marvels yesterday. I'd call it one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but it barely qualifies as one. It's just mostly just a bunch of movie clips, that have next to no connection with each other, slapped together to make yet another capeshit movie that you have to watch, if you want to fully understand the plot of the next one down the line. Most interesting thing about it is the integration of the X-Men, but it also introduces them along a black woman, which is the worst way to start things off. Can't wait for them to ruin the X-Men next.
