this, plus Ironman and Nolan's Batman
>and Nolan's Batman
no
you ok lil zoomie?
nta but this just looks like millenials being gay morons as usual
>headline specifically says 'Gen Z'
>it must be millennials
you should know very well by now that normalgays love to conflate millenials with zoomers making zoomers look even gayer than they would because of millenial troony bullshit
give one (1) reason whats wrong with that other than
>they look different than me!!
>and Nolan's Batman
yes
>nolans batman
>literally the worst batman adaptation of all time
It's a good movie, great even. Not a good comic book movie at all as all it does is shit on the source material.
>Not a good comic book movie at all as all it does is shit on the source material.
Not at all. Nolan is clearly a huge Batman fanboy, but he's also an artist first and realizes that films are not adaptations of the direct source, but rather another telling of the character. Characters like Batman and Superman may have their roots in comic books, but they have long since become multimedia characters. Flying, Kryptonite, Lex Luthor, Pa Kent's Death, The "S" as a house crest, all shit that comes from adaptations of Superman rather than the comics, yet they get woven in and we think about them as such core components of the Superman canon. Nolan's Batmans are brimming with love for the source material, while also being their own take on the character and concept. It's how these characters live and more importantly its how you get good movies out of them.
I've never understood comic book purism when it comes to superhero stories. These characters and their mythos are the heart of what make them interesting. But a movie should never strive to be like a superhero comic beyond aesthetics and spirit. Superhero comics by and large, are dogshit. And it's been a long time since they were anything more than idea testing grounds for the movie adaptations. This isn't like adapting novels where there's a fundamental text and intention. These are characters that have been interpreted over numerous decades and 90% of which has been fodder.
Superman is gay. Nolan's batman is trash. Shut up homosexual.
Your mother.
>"oh man I'm superman I can move faster than light and no one would ever know"
>"no son, do not come save me from this tornado which you could totally do and no one would know"
>"ok dad, goodbye"
Literal, fricking garbage
Yeah Man of Steel is a shit movie. No arguments there.
Anyone who doesn’t think Batman Begins is the greatest of all time, is a homosexual. Plain and simple.
Am i being trolled?
Capekino
BvS was just as good if not better
Watchmen is the best capekino of all time though
I think of MoS, BvS, and the SnyderCut as one continuous story, an actual trilogy instead of a loosely connected series of sequels like most capeshit is. They’re complete in a way that other capeshit just isn’t. In a way, they remind me of the LotR trilogy. BvS actually expanded on MoS in a way I’ve never seen any other sequel accomplish. It recontextualized things in such a way that it made me retroactively appreciate MoS even more.
Watchmen is trash.
>Blocks your path
Every movie by Snyder is great
Correct.
?si=ft_YJlWzlkcgZkx6 still the greatest scene any cape movie has ever produced
pure unadulterated kino
Honestly they only sin BvS commited in my eyes was killing Supes way too early otherwise it's an amazing movie
wb wanted to rush the whole cinematic crap cause of marvel, snyder wanted to make a MoS 2 and some other stuff that would have made more sense than the rushed clusterfrick we got
If only they weren't so greedy...
Now that Marvel is dead they would have made tons of money.
The bigger frickup was killing Clark Kent, funeral and everything
dont forget implicitly killing doctor hamilton
>super rushed
felt fine to me
>unironically complaining about long uninterrupted action sequences
yea frick off, im sick of every movie having this stupid filming technique where they interrupt the fighting to show you some random bullshit with some homosexuals girlfriend or to tell some moronic homosexual ass unfunny stupid fricking joke to keep stupid women engaged
of all the fricking things you can complain about you complain about fight scenes NOT getting interrupted and actually having some length to them instead of being some frick you three minute bullshit leaving you with more? this type of shit is what makes people just watch anime instead, the whole film is leading up to the action wich is the best shit about it you fricking bet i want it long and uninterrupted you fricking normalgay ass homosexual frick
>leaving you with more
WANTING MORE****
and not in the good way
too many capeshit films have some shitty fight scenes with CONSTANT interruptions, shit screenplay, and stupid jokes shoehorned into it
of all the fricking things you complain about one of the best things this movie did
what is WRONG with you?
It's because Snyder hates Superman and has no take on the character.
I you edited out the tornado scene somehow, and trimmed the length of the zod fight it would be a 9/10.
I absolutely love it as is, but those two elements make it a flawed gem.
>tornado scene
???
People also complain about the “I don’t know” scene but honestly I don’t mind it. I think it’s a realistic response of a father who cares who cares the most for his son not to be caught by the government and be treated as a lab experiment or something.
That's not Blade
The New 52 animated movie universe is what the DCEU should have been
>The New 52 animated movie universe
all dogshit, like the live action movies
Her movie has shit, but she was so cute and now I'm sad that I will probably never see her again.
>Her movie has shit, but she was so cute and now I'm sad that I will probably never see her again.
They were trying to make like 5 movies crammed into one. They should have just made a proper god damn Supergirl film starring her. The suit is nice, and her being weaker and not as confident or experienced fixes the obvious "superman is too strong thus it's not dramatic.". Watching her fail, learn and grow would be interesting.
Plus she's so damn fine.
By far the worst of Snyder's superhero movies. And probably the one that's still in dire need of a directors cut.
there is nothing wrong with this movie
There's a lot wrong with it
The pacing is awful, man. All the interesting stuff about Superman coming to terms with himself is super rushed and the action scenes in the climax go on for way too long without any breaks.
It has the same story beats as Batman Begins and everyone loves that movie
Because BB is a good movies and doesn't shit on Batman, or the audience's intelligence. Unlike snyder's crap.
Maybe it's that
It's the second best Snyder but that's still only mid in capeshit.
Raimi Human Holocaust
What went right?
>DESAAD DESAAAAAAD
We could've saved him.
Steppy didn’t deserve it. Sure, he would have conquered and enslaved us all without a moment’s thought, but in the end, he’s just a working stiff like the rest of us.
>my redemption is nigh
Funny that your favorite youtuber Grace rated this behind Wonder Woman, Snyder Cut and The Flash, Aquaman, BvS, Shazam, and Suicide Squad
I think X2 and Spiderman 2 are peak capeshit.
Nothing beats Magneto's prison escape and Octopus character design
But that's just my senile boomer opinion
It's really not good.
It's a mid capeshit flick. Not shit but not good either.
This. Zack Snyder's best movie and it's a gentleman's 6/10.
>the only good capeshit
>Manslaughter of Steel
There are some kino scenes, but a lot of the writing is bad. Special effects quality is inconsistent. Hans Zimmer score is godly.
7/10
kino
The Flash movie had a decent premise honestly, fairly entertaining watch. Idk I didn’t hate the DCEU but it should’ve all been under Snyder’s vision he had cool updated takes on the DC universe. I found it surreal seeing DCEU stuff like The Flash and Aquaman 2 long after the universe had been shit canned idk why they continued to release these movies instead of just scrapping them
The Flash, isolated from all the shitshow bts drama, is actually a good movie. I'll happily accept it as the endpoint of the Snyderverse if we can't have anything else.
Exactly how I feel. And Ioved Bruce’s pastaverse analogy. To anyone paying attention, it also explained why time travel isn’t Barry’s go-to solution for everything. They treated a bit like Illyana Rasputin’s time/teleportation discs - the further she goes, the less accurate she is. With Barry, going back more than seconds to minutes increases the risk of him landing in a completely different timeline/continuity.
Love this film, the only superhero film from the 2010's I'll rewatch other than Doctor Strange, can't stand any of his other films but 300. Don't know why.
Blade is the only good capeshit.
No snydershit was ever good.
Bye contrarian
>completely shits on everything that makes Superman, y'know, Superman
>destroys Pa Kent's character
Frick this movie
