every time I watched Orville it was a cute character doing something cute
every time I tried to watch nuTrek it was homosexuals, Black folk, and trannies everywhere
I really hate Black folk
not because of the skin color but because of how the way they behave
even the white characters in nuTrek are a bunch of dumb Black folk
>Halston left
aka >McFarlane stopped fricking her and dumped her like a used condom
another Trek staple,
but the other b***hes managed to not piss of the boss
He is a trek fan and thought that the comfy upbeat flat lightning sets became a lost art after the 2000s. Listen to TNG's bluray commentary with him, I believe the episode he commented on was the was with the time loop where the enterprise explodes repeatedly.
The scene where the Krill girl demonstrates how her species punishes those who have abortions by taking the parent's DNA, simulating what their child would have looked like in a holodeck and force them to interact with it as it asks them why they killed it was amazing.
Come to find out, he didn't.
It's been cancelled.
And it was a trek knock-off, trying desperately to be "cool and hip" while pushing extreme commie propaganda.
But let's be real...Seth is actually a good actor. I was surprised.
Fricking why? The show fell apart, the writing quality was all over the place in season 2-3, everyone was fricking each other on set, most/all of the character stories had some conclusion, Hulu/Fox did an Ent and played around with broadcasts, it's not on reruns and was canned because Seth didn't want to do it anymore with the studio being clear they wouldn't run it without him.
I'll still watch for the 2-3 great episodes you get in a season but it would be better if they just gave Seth the helm of actual Star Trek with a solid executive producer to wrangle him and control the set.
Why the frick would anyone give Seth control of real trek? Because he has such original ideas as:
"What if aliens were all male... and gay! But every once in a while a girl is born... but then they transition her to a male... so she's a he... and gay!"
"What if there was an alien that seduced people... and... and it even worked on men! So... so it turned the men gay!"
Hey look, it's a shill who has never seen Star Trek.
Orville was a bunch of gay shit, woke shit. It was NOTHING like star trek. No real moral quandaries, no hard sci-fi. Just a shit imitation that missed the core point.
The only MILDLY interesting thing they did was have the robot be evil. But they fricked that up by making his costume so shit.

It wasn’t the same after Halston left

His love for Star Trek was genuine.
Alara Kitan was a boring, garbage character that dragged the show down.

Same way galaxy quest did it. They got people who actually love star trek involved and did their best to pay homage to it.

nobody is going to ask you out bro
Paramount fired everyone that worked on Star Trek TV shows and only had people that thought the Star Trek movie reboot was the good Star Trek left.
Then everyone promptly jumped ship to the Orville lmao
How many were killed in the robot war because of this little prank?
Why are 50% of the episodes about troony rights?
Because trek used to be about ethics. That's why Orville works. NuTrek is forced diversity and girl boss saves the day.
They make up 50% of the population, duh.
They did have the balls to so a transitioning the kid was a mistake episode

It's overall a good show, and there's actual payoff to Orville crew mistakes which is more than you can say for Star Trek.
Also some incredibly bleak moments. They basically kill the Irish pilot guys wife and kid. That shit was brutal.
>how did he do it?

I was absolutely not surprised nobody watched it.
He has actually watched an episode of star trek before.
>already at 3 seasons, as far as TOS went
>season 4 confirmed
Seth just can't stop winning, no matter how much troons seethe over it
>season 4 confirmed
For real? isn't he too busy with Ted?
Supposedly it's been signed off on but filming won't start until next year.

God damn, what a great writer.
>people cosplay as Orville characters
>no one cosplays as the nappy headed thing from STD

The Orville : not enough jokes to be a good comedy, but just enough to not take it seriously as a sci-fi drama.
auschwitz legs. literal sticks.
>auschwitz legs.
She looks good in the uniform, because it gives her a more healthy shape.
I just hate that thing between her eyebrows. Why did he have to cast such an ugly woman to be his wife?
she's attainably hot
It just makes me sad to watch this show, like what could have been if Trek was still Trek.
It's not better than star trek prodigy
i will now watch your pink cute girl show.
Smoochable forehead.
Trying to make it a comedy ruined it.
