We've had many characters that turned and got redeemed and that were far better than Reva.

No, it was a few reasons. Fugly is just a piece of the pie. There is also the way she speaks and her mannerisms, they resemble neither a Jedi remnant nor an imperial inquisitor. The character is written possessing knowledge that feels unnatural, similar to a child's fanfic. The character causes other characters to behave contrary to their nature for the sake of framing the plot in a certain way. The plot revolves around her as if she were the star of the show (though this point is only negative because of her unnatural place in the story alongside Kenobi's strange behavior that is poorly detailed, it gives the sense that they wrote the show as a vessel to tell her story rather than Kenobi's).
