The scene where Quagmire tells Brian why he's a bad person would have worked infinitely better if it had been Meg who did it.
The scene where Quagmire tells Brian why he's a bad person would have worked infinitely better if it had been Meg who did it.
The entire joke is quagmire is a worse person than Brian is is a massive hypocrite
The writers themselves missed the joke then because his entire personality changed after that scene.
Yeah, that was really it. The bulk of Quagmire's rant had to do with Brian's politics and preachings not actually matching his behavior and that's not really something viewers can call Quagmire out on since we don't know his political stances.
This was the episode Quagmire was changed into nu-Quagmire.
The entire episode is awful and one of the worst Family Guy episodes.
meant for
And it wasn't just that scene, the entire episode was nu-Quagmire.
While what he's saying is true, he's a massive hypocrite, making his statements have less value and make others roll their eyes and ignore him. But in all, why didn't Brian call him out?
>he's a massive hypocrite
I don't think you know what that word means anon
quagmire is a rapist
I don't see what that has to do with you not knowing what hypocrisy means.
I think it's you not knowing what hypocrisy means, dude. Quagmire is a hypocrite because he has done waaay worse than Brian and still acts as if he's morally superior to him.
Anon, that doesn't make Quagmire a hypocrite.
A hypocrite is someone that preaches an ideal and doesn't follow it.
Quagmire literally admits he he's a bad person and doesn't hide it, unlike Brian.
You are an imbecile and I suggest you don't bother replying back.
It was kind of hypocritical when he called Brian for having a crush on Louis even though he also has one, also when he said Brian is the worst person he know when Quagmire himself is that for everybody else. Plus he being open about being a bad person doesn't give him any ground to talk of others.
Let be know that Family Guy is too highbrow for you.
>But in all, why didn't Brian call him out?
Because what would be the point? They were only having a conversation because Brian forced Quagmire to elaborate on why he doesn't like him. If Brian shows that he doesn't like Quagmire either with his own rant, what exactly does it do to Quagmire? Because it certainly isn't going to make him like Brian.
>he's saying is true
Incorrect. Glen was projecting.
the only hypocritical thing he said was "hitting on your best friend's wife"
>But in all, why didn't Brian call him out?
Because Brian is the one putting on a facade here. Quagmire's intentions are always out in the open, he's direct about what he wants and everyone knows what he's about. Meanwhile Brian is a walking liberal nice guy trope, someone who pretends to give a shit in order to trick some defenseless woman into spreading her legs for him, and that's on top of the fact that he's so full of shit, acting like he's so smart and cultured when he barely knows a damn thing about anything (in newer seasons anyway), he's like a teen trying to get out of reading a book for his book report by using excerpts from sparknotes or something (something I tried to do back in my high school days, lol).
>Quagmire's intentions are always out in the open
Yeah to us, the audience, but he's incredibly deceptive to the women he bangs and assaults. We've seen him do all kinds of shady shit including lie about his identity and straight up drug women, he can't just say "yeah but I'm not a phony" and claim to be superior.
Because Quagmire had him dead to rights and Brian was incapable of denying it whatsoever. And most of Quagmire's noted behavior is through pure visual gags and often toes the line between actual character trait and FG being edgy with its humor.
Brian, meanwhile, is played painfully straight the entire time, so Quagmire's total shutdown of his character is equally jarring as it is funny because "the date rapist has a point".
The entire Brian Quagmire feud was pointless.
I always feel like any character story is just the writers trying to doge writing humor.
The degree to which this scene makes Brian gays seethe to this day is golden
That's atheistkeks to you
No wonder their suicide rates are so high
Quagmire's BS excuse for this is that he doesn't hide behind a facade right
He only said that about using women for their bodies. He was generally talking about Brian specific things when ripping into his character. And ultimately, its Brian's fault that Quagmire was even doing this.
Based I jerk off to this scene and when Brian dies frick atheists lmao
There isn't a single morally good character in The Family Guy universe or any Seth universe. Bit of a pointless thread.
aight. what else?
Too bad you flip burgers for a living and not write stories
Brian is?
