Our sun orbits the center of our galaxy most likely a supermassive black hole.

Technically the earth and the sun orbit their common center of mass, so here, you're the moron

The sun is so much bigger that survivors is just ridiculous. Would the sun even 'feel' it if it collided with earth?

That's actually a hard question to answer, at least with my level of education. I imagine the earth being more dense than the sun's plasma would drift toward the center and 'dissolve' into high-nucleon plasma, which would accelerate the sun's life cycle.
TL;DR, based on my admittedly pseudo amateur level of understanding, it would make the sun burn up slightly faster

I guess the real impact would be the gravitational forces at play with the sun moving and the earth vanishing. Who the frick knows what that could do to the local space.

I might download a solar simulator today to frick with this, putting the sun a tad off gravitational center would be admittedly interesting to look into

The larger effect would be fricking with orbits, depending on the timing, you could accidentally pull in a planet from the outer belt and slingshot others out of the solar system.
Jupiter colliding with the sun would be particularly interesting, insofar as it being almost as big as a gas giant can be without collapsing into a star of its own, that might actually prolong the sun's lifetime

The earth is full of diamonds, which are the hardest metal known to man, and would deflect the sun

Deflecting is a human thing to do in a conversation, I don't see what it has to do with the sun or it's flowers.
As for diamonds.. will you really bet your life on something that has the sound "die" as it's beginning?

Fricking stupid. The sun is only, like, the size of a coin. Go outside right now, hold up a coin and compare it to the sun. Same size.

    Let's unpack this
    >humanity has randomly chose people
Is there now a consolidated "humanity" at this point? Also why would the choice be random?
    >one random film
So it's not really a choice then

the sun is one of the objects of all time. if it fell out of orbit it would wipe out 99% of planet Earlh.
