>The TVA have the most powerful destructive macguffin object seen in the MCU so far - a time bomb that can destroy entire universes
>Macguffin is barely mentioned
Loki is arguably the most important show
It's basically the backbone of every significant mcu story-arc ever
nobody watched
lame.
for everyones b***hing about muh terrible mcu nobody is seems to be paying actual attention
yeah like there's thousands of storylines in the comics and i'm sure there's a few comics that are "backbones" as well but on the tv/movies this is the first proper meta-storyline we've seen so far
This is true to the way comic books are written.
Those lines get really fricked in the future where Loki travelled to. Dox is probably Sylvie when she got older and realized how much she fricked up. That Brad dude is Dox's so future Sylvie's son with Mobius
>Sylvie's son with Mobius
fricking what?
Book it.
Well Dox (old Sylvie) hugged him like a son and he looks more like Mobius than Loki so this completes the love triangle
>Dox
Who?
Who does who hug when?
The actress who plays Lysa Arryn in GoT. She hugs Brad in e1 after Loki almost prunes him. The gorilla woman notices that
Oh you're saying Dox is Sylvie.
That could be cool
>
I honestly just thought she was doing her creepy mothering routine. That's probably why they cast her, to misdirect. I fell for it.
The fact that the black woman acknowledged it is significant. Also it is out of character for Dox to care for someone that emotionally
They're all having meltdowns because of the revelations
They have the same dynamic as the nazi lady and the ginger boy in Doctor Evil
Also Brad became a rich actor on the sacred timeline so he was obviously protected to do that
Are they intending for the show to be enjoyable only on a rewatch? Because watching Loki be unable to chase down a hunter human for the sake of filler is excruciatingly and infuriatingly frustrating and boring.
They just want to show Hiddleston running all the time for some reason
yeah i fricking hate that they nerfed him so fricking hard
holy frick this is post-throwing and raping several shield soldiers-loki and he fights like a b***h in this
I have been honestly tired and disregarding the MCU for almost a decade... But this show has captivated me. I listened to Cinemaphile, whe you said its crap, but gave it a shot like a half year ago and completly loved it. So far the new season is also as great. Honestly best show right now to watch besides Shoresy.
i can't really disregard something i've been watching practically for free the last 10 years...
but i can appreciate a good storyline still and loki is as you say pretty intriguing
if the comics are really like this i'm looking foward to more meta-shit this phase still
Episode 2 of season 2 was dogshit
They're withholding too many details to use as hooks for the remainder of the season, and the payoff wont come as we expect. It'll just hook to the next season or film.
I just want to know why X-5/Brad didn't just give them the information
He knew they were gonna commit fricking genocide and he hid that from them?
I'm pissed off they haven't buried this butthole yet
I'm not supposed to be livid while watching or after watching an episode of capeshit tv, but this was the most egregious thing I've seen from capeshit yet. He is a nobody that talked for the vast majority of the episode, and all of his lines and motivations were withheld. It didn't even make sense how he was undercover on the timeline. It was truly awful.
> He is a nobody
Yeah it seems like they are setting him up to be somebody. But he was positioned like the main character with L&M as side kicks. Horrible directing
They could have filled with informative shit like, looks like a lot of TVA personnel have gone rogue and leapt onto the timeline to live some life. Here's *NEW CHARACTER* that might have a lead on last known whereabouts on *WHATEVER THEY'RE LOOKING FOR*
Instead of context they just throw in filler scenes like a chase or painful dialogue like the entire interrogation scene.
Yeah I don't like Brad
Any sort of redemption from his character will be biggest prolapsed asspull in this show
The best thing they can do for this arc is keep him in prison never to be seen again
If it's really Sylvie/Dox then it's a shot at Loki for not recognizing her. He's supposed to be a thousand years old. I would think he'd be an expert in seeing who people are despite aging.
He didn't recognize his variants in that episode with the alligator
That's kind of different.
It isn't. If he sees someone he cannot tell if that's his variant or not
But he knows Sylvie. You'd think he'd recognize her despite aging.
She answered the bog call
>Can recast Loki a few dozen times in one episode.
>Can't recast Wakanda Black person
Is this some kind of anti-racist shit? Blacks don't look all alike? They're irreplaceable?
Grow the frick up, how are you still watching capeshit
What should I be watching
What kind of silly little man goes into threads telling people what to do
When. i watch ‘Loki’, this is the impression I get.
so why don't they equip a couple dozen infinity stones so they can instantly win whenever they're outside of the TVA
Their time tools/weapons are more powerful.
no they're not
they have higher "authority" and can override anything else in their field of use but the nigh omnipotence of the infinity stones would obviously help trying to catch some schmuck running away on foot
I imagine the TVA hunters are exceptionally disposable, and if they can't secure a variant, they simply prune the branch anyway. The stones can't stop a branch from being pruned. Therefore the time tech is more powerful.
Loki is peak trash writing.
MCU is so fricking done.
When was MCU not trash writing?
