>You have now entered... the KINO ZONE
This is the most consistent show ever made. Unironically could be the most influential ever.
>Cory you can just buy another one when we get to earth. Maybe try a blonde next time.
Living Doll episode was the inspiration for Chucky and the mom in it has an outstanding butt on her
my name is talky tina and I don't like pedophiles
i would love to see someone make a short film about a living doll that protects a child from a step-dad trying to abuse them by using their kindness voice to talk through all the psychological trauma (could push a button or be a pull-string) and then the doll kills the step-dad at the end.
That's basically Talky Tina, my dude.
maybe a monster or some kind of weird mirror. these are just examples. it could also be much better
Okay post your top 5 episodes
>A Nick In Time
>A Stop At Willoughby
>The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
>To Serve Man
>Kick The Can
>The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
is that the one with the bomb shelter? that one is great
In middle school we acted out a stage version of that episode for English class. I remember being so excited for it, and no one else giving a shit lmao
I know that feel too well.
>In middle school we acted out a stage version of that episode for English class
Funny, in one of my high school English classes I wrote a short story that was a complete plagiarism of that episode.
Luckily the teacher wasn't a fan of the show and I got an A.
i havent seen the series in a while but from what i remember
>After Hours
>Little Girl Lost
>Elegy
>That one where the paranoid old lady is visited by death, forgot the name
oh shit i forgot a 5th one
>the masks
>>That one where the paranoid old lady is visited by death, forgot the name

>Night of the Meek
just watched the episode where the guy can't fall asleep because he thinks he'll die if he does. felt very proto-lynchian
Nice boom mic
>shadman
As a 32 year old man, Walking distance makes me really sad. My favorite episode for sure
Try looking forward, instead of behind you...
>As a 32 year old man, Walking distance makes me really sad. My favorite episode for sure
He's suppose to be 36.
I'm 8 years older than his character.
!!!FACT!!!
>Martin, is it so bad where you're from?
the saddest episode for me is the one with the old college professor who gets visited by the ghosts of his past students
the scene where the student recites the poem the professor told him always chokes me up
Not just any college professor, Donald FRICKING Pleasance no less.
The other christmas episode; Night of the Meek, is great too.
>THIS IS THE OTHER PLACE
>AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
My favourite episode. This bit is so chilling.
that robot will never be a woman
The one where the one were guy makes a bet to keep his shut for a year or so.
his what shut?
any good torrents for the whole series?
Imagine how it'd feel facefricking THAT
Best TV show ever made!!!FACT!!!
he did nothing wrong, he just wanted to listen to the record he got for his birthday. fricking little shithead kid
>spent every night of my holiday in Florida watching The Twlight Zone with my Brother (apart from Saturdays (the good adult swim night))
>dont want to watch it again because it will dilute those memories
scariest episodes?
the one that really spooked me as a kid was elegy, such a haunting atmosphere and twist
The only one that really scared me was Night Call. That scene where the father is on the phone with his dead mom not to kill his child still haunts me.
Long Distance Call
>The only one that really scared me was Night Call. That scene where the father is on the phone with his dead mom not to kill his child still haunts me.
>Long Distance Call
Anon made the correction but Night Call is fricking chilling yet tragic!!!FACT!!!
Nightmare as a child is underrated as far as horror episodes go. One of the only episodes to make me genuinely tense
After a lot of watching I have deduced that every episode of the show falls into 5 distinct categories:
>story with a twist ending
>story that explores the human psyche, often forcing a character to make an impossible decision
>horror/thriller story
>allegorical story which is meant to teach a moral lesson
>story that is simply meant to entertain, possibly ranging from comedy to sci-fi
For me, my favorites are the allegorical ones. They feel the most timeless.
Wasn't there an episode where a guy got magical powers and wanted to turn everybody into manlets, but ended up getting turned into a manlet himself?
>Wasn't there an episode where a guy got magical powers and wanted to turn everybody into manlets, but ended up getting turned into a manlet himself?
Yep, The Last Night of a Jockey, starring Mickey Rooney!!!FACT!!!

ALL THE WAY, ALL THE TIME, RIGHT ON DOWN THE LINE
The episode where there’s a crazy heat wave and the world is super fricked, and it turns out it’s actually some girls fever dream and it’s actually an ice age and the world is still fricked
Writing it out makes it just sound moronic but for whatever reason that episode always grips me
She was all sweaty and looked very tasty
>She was all sweaty and looked very tasty
I concur!!!FACT!!!

The ending is *ahem* chilling!!!FACT!!!
The one where some guy finds cameras and a movie studio outside the walls of his office and everyone thinks he's an actor is terrifying.
What about the one where 3 astronauts return to Earth except one of the astronauts disappears from existence and nobody seems to remember him except for one of the other astronauts and then he starts fearing that the same thing will happen to him and it does?
reminder that was based on a true story
Really?
>reminder that was based on a true story
>Really?
No, you're thinking of "King 9 Will Not Return" which was based on the true story of the Lady Be Good, a B-24 Liberator that was found in the desert without its crew.......
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Be_Good_(aircraft)
!!!FACT!!!
I didn't hear about it.
Disappearing from existence is less terrifying
>The one where the Earth is moving closer to the sun
>The one where it's post apocalypse world and the prophet keeping everyone alive is living in a cave
>The one where only one guy has a bomb shelter in a small town and news broadcasts that a nuclear war is about to start and all the neighbors start fighting despite being a close knit community only to find out at the end it was a false alarm but all relationships have permanently ruined
>The one where the AI the scientist is asking dating tips from becomes a jealous b***h trying to jeopardize his life
>The one where a stressed out overworked New York office worker screams at the top of his long that he wishes everyone went away and literally everyone disappears, leaving him in an empty new york.
For I second I thought this thumbnail was from the Ultra Q opening, trippy
>But there was time now...
REKT
Visit while you still can, there's rumblings from Cast Members at the park that it's gonna get stripped of the Twilight Zone theming for the new movie Taika Waititi is developing.
Didn't it already get fricked for like a guardians of the galaxy theme or something?
Mirror Image is kino.
