Say it with me : income tax brackets are PROGRESSIVE. I earn around 20k€ after charges and I my income tax is around 300€. In the US if I earned 20k$ my fed income tax would be (looking at your chart) 0.1x9875=987.5 + ((20000-9875=10125)x12%=1215)=2202.5$. WM3 anon. I worked with some film makers on the case, and got to take part in a crime scene re-enactment and met with Terry Hobbs, who was wrongfully accused by the defense in the media as the "real killer."
The WM3. During the re-enectment we turned some new evidence proving that whoever killed the boys would have been seen-- by like a lot of people. We even encountered security from a near-by business who watched and approached us.

This is a portion of the re-enectment, of which the purpose was to see how long it would take to reasonably carry out the crime on the basis of if Terry or Mark Byers were responsible. We were able to construct a timeline with the assistence of a criminal profiler, and were able to show that there was really only an hour long window of time for either Byers or Hobbs to carry out the crime, and if they were unavailble... then it put them in the clear. An additional observation we quickly made was how many witnesses would have seen Mark Byers or Terry Hobbs if they were guilty, and in addition both would have likely used a vehicle in the commission of the crime. There were people watching us everywhere on both entrances to the location.
In the included snippet, which I shot on my phone, we came up to the crime scene in the pouring rain on the service road side and we start noticing how people are coming out of the near-by business and watching us. Off camera, they were security guatds who approached us. I was told by several people connected to the case, that was a known fact about the location; something someone who hadn't been there, could not appreciate.

I think it's okay to protest the killing of a 15yo that had never been convicted at the hands of police when police wasn't in danger cause driving without a permit or even recklessly isn't a death sentence. Even if he ever was convicted of something prior (again he was categorically not), police officer had no idea who he was. And I think it's okay to protest the death of another 15yo stabbed in a fight he was participating in (which happened and was authorized despite people feeding you a lie to the contrary), I just think it's fairly useless since a) he was in a fight between kids over one kid basically calling another a homosexual and b) he was in the side that started the fight. People that want to avoid that situation in the future should protest the racism that led to the fight and a pointless death.

As much as I'm convinced they're guilty I can't deny the cops completely fumbled the investigation, one of their biggest frick ups being telling Misskelley exactly where the bodies were, what their condition was and what they suspected happened which makes anything he says that is consistent with that less credible. However independently from that Misskelley's confession does place all of them squarely in the area of the crime, as proven by the whiskey bottle. And the fact none of them could come up with an alternative alibi that stood up to scrutiny is beyond suspicious.

Say it with me : income tax brackets are PROGRESSIVE. I earn around 20k€ after charges and I my income tax is around 300€. In the US if I earned 20k$ my fed income tax would be (looking at your chart) 0.1x9875=987.5 + ((20000-9875=10125)x12%=1215)=2202.5$. French people pay NOTHING on the first 10k, americans don't, and that makes quite a bit of difference.

As I've just pointed out, people under a higher level of income are barely taxed on that income, and illegal jobs aren't higher level of income. This is a portion of the re-enectment, of which the purpose was to see how long it would take to reasonably carry out the crime on the basis of if Terry or Mark Byers were responsible. We were able to construct a timeline with the assistence of a criminal profiler, and were able to show that there was really only an hour long window of time for either Byers or Hobbs to carry out the crime, and if they were unavailble... then it put them in the clear. An additional observation we quickly made was how many witnesses would have seen Mark Byers or Terry Hobbs if they were guilty, and in addition both would have likely used a vehicle in the commission of the crime. There were people watching us everywhere on both entrances to the location.
In the included snippet, which I shot on my phone, we came up to the crime scene in the pouring rain on the service road side and we start noticing how people are coming out of the near-by business and watching us. Off camera, they were security guatds who approached us. I was told by several people connected to the case, that was a known fact about the location; something someone who hadn't been there, could not appreciate.

I think it's okay to protest the killing of a 15yo that had never been convicted at the hands of police when police wasn't in danger cause driving without a permit or even recklessly isn't a death sentence. Even if he ever was convicted of something prior (again he was categorically not), police officer had no idea who he was. And I think it's okay to protest the death of another 15yo stabbed in a fight he was participating in (which happened and was authorized despite people feeding you a lie to the contrary), I just think it's fairly useless since a) he was in a fight between kids over one kid basically calling another a homosexual and b) he was in the side that started the fight. People that want to avoid that situation in the future should protest the racism that led to the fight and a pointless death.
