Seeing the ongoing flood of AI-slop has convinced me that the writers were right all along. It really is soulless and fundamentally anti-human, and anything it churns out will be orders of magnitude worse than what we're currently getting from Hollywood.

Best thing to do is to stuff a sock in their mouth then tie a sheet around their face so they can't spit it out. Also don't strike the head to quiet a person down, hit them in the diaphragm so they can't breathe, shuts them up faster and keeps them from trying it again.

AI is a force multiplier. Dumbasses who can’t prompt will make slop with it. People who already have a vision in mind will be able to use it to work out details more easily and create kino with it - though they will probably not have to rely solely on AI either

that's not how anything works. people who never seriously pursued anything creative have this inaccurate notion that there is the "vision" and there is the "execution" and that they will be able to offload the "execution" to an ai, but this division does not actually exist. you discover what your idea even really was IN THE PROCESS OF EXECUTING IT, because nothing means anything before you start dealing with something real that exists outside of your head and is bound by rules outside your control. it's not that you know what your novel's about and then you find the words, it's the wrestling with the words that determines what the novel will be about. you have to start wrestling. all this ai fad is doing is robbing people of the actually valuable experience of DOING SHIT, because it justifies digging deeper into daydreaming: any day now ai will get so good i will be able to make MY IDEA, no need to work on anything, learn any skills, better just wait and think about MY IDEA some more... and you'll wake up years from now with nothing to show for it. just fricking do something today you tards, don't fall for it, you are never getting back the time you are wasting on this nonsense.

I actually like AI stuff as long as it's prompted well. The more details you give it the better. Not sure why it's making people so mad. Artists and writers could be utilizing AI and then touching it up manually to make the end product better.
