Season one was barely passable. Season 2 had one good episode, the first. There’s a pretty big difference between not following the books with precision, and then race swapping damn near every character and throwing the main protagonist off to the side.

The Witcher had the potential to be the next GoT. But due to the writer's own hubris it tanked super hard. Season 1 was decent, season 2 was very mid and i couldnt even finish season 3 it was so bad.

season 1 was atleast serviceable with too much time spent on the chicks. Season 2 started out great with a legit kino first episode. Then went straight back focusing only on the black and brown women. Frick so disappointing.
My exact experience with the show. Season was rough but forgivable, season 2 had that very strong first episode then went straight off a cliff when they decided to focus on Black persongilla and Girlboss elf queen. What the frick were they thinking?!

They spent so much time on the different kingdoms each with their very own ugly brown witch but never fleshed any of them out. As a viewer i had no idea what or where any of these kingdoms were in this world. Just one of the many many problems this show had.
