The worst cry iv had to an animated character, ever. Even UP wasnt this bad. I understand the need for emotional storytelling but man i was not ready for this flick whatsoever. As far as marvel goes? This one was a 8-9/10 the best theyve ever done. Wish it was a little longer and tied up the gang a little more neatly but i guess that was it!

We see him as little kid and in his youth hang out with his fellow caged cyborg animal friends, fantasizing about what they'll do when the perfect society is finished.
Robo homie has no intention of letting old and ugly experiments into his perfect society and intends to incinerate them all. All frens die and the raccoon escapes.

Yeah i felt pretty gay while i was crying. I guess its something inside of me from being a loser/underdog my whole life. I always want the little guys to win. The disenfranchised if you will. I get it, its a marvel movie with fictional cgi aninals. But it just provides to the innocence, imo. Dont be so jaded. So aloof. Feelings are okay even if they come from made up stories.

Lets be honest. We didnt care because walrus was moronic and not fluffy. And also, i didnt real care about any of the characters. I cared about what they meant to rocket.
The dude that made them was fricking moronic, I'm struggling to put it into words but legitimately what was he thinking by making those things? He actually went out of his way to make a walrus that was disabled, a rabbit with a prosthetic mouth and spider legs and an otter with crappy robot arms. Why take a sea animal and cripple its ability to move around in the sea? It just seems counter intuitive. Sorry for the autism but I struggled to feel sympathy because their designs were really dumb.

I feel like it was skipped over/cut and the flick was supposed to be longer. Black man hated rocket because he suxked at what he did and rocket was so smart he fixed the dudes creations. Without rocket, everything Black man did failed (even with perfect evolved animals his society was moronic) thatsvwhay everything before rocket was gay and licked balls and he needed rockets brain intact because he was different than all the others. But, marvel, so dumber.
My understanding was that prior to his gas-machine that could evolve/anthropomorphize animals, this was his first attempt at making intelligent animals. Cyborging them. Each of those animals seems slightly more advanced than the last.

It was a great movie all three are but it did leave me sad I also felt sorry for Star lord he didn’t end up with gamora the whole thing was sad I’m glad rocket freed the other animals from the high evolutionary at the end stopped his reign of terror

I dunno, it all felt pretty trite to me
if it were a kids movie centered around that specific plotline and not just flashbacks in a capeshit, and I watched it over two decades ago, then maybe it would have had some effect
I already liked rocket this made me like him more and explained why he was kind of an butthole in the first two movies at times
