          >For a period of several weeks in 1966, Kaczynski experienced intense sexual fantasies of being female and decided to undergo gender transition. He arranged to meet with a psychiatrist but changed his mind in the waiting room and discussed other things instead, without disclosing his original reason for making the appointment. Afterwards, enraged, he considered killing the psychiatrist and other people whom he hated. Kaczynski described this episode as a "major turning point" in his life.[32][33] He recalled: "I felt disgusted about what my uncontrolled sexual cravings had almost led me to do. And I felt humiliated, and I violently hated the psychiatrist. Just then there came a major turning point in my life. Like a Phoenix, I burst from the ashes of my despair to a glorious new hope."[34]

Only a israelite would tell a story about someone not doing something and then judge them as if they did. That's truly remarkable.

              Anonymous

At least you aren't calling it lies. I don't know why you think ANYTHING would or should be left out of the biographies of Ted K. His life will be examined for decades to become. We all want to better understand people who perpetrate extreme crimes of terrorism like this; especially those who are prolific and remained at large for so long. It's absolutely important to mention that story. By wishing that 'israelites' wouldn't "tarnish his image" you're coming off as some sort of Ted apologist or fanboy or something.

It's not at all remarkable. It's just good and complete research and journalism. But you're assuming anyone is "judging" him for it. You would because you think negatively of trans stuff, but just reporting on Ted's attempts at SRS isn't a judgmental act in any way. You want it swept under the rug and left out of the history books? No fricking way, dude. It doesn't work like that ideally.

          fake news

It seems to be in all of the official stories about him. Not a major thing because it was brief and never developed into anything, but I don't see why you think it's a lie. You can appreciate what Ted wrote, thought, and while I do not, you can even appreciate what he did. That doesn't make him a perfect person. I know it conflicts with your narrow and twisted ideology of what is "based" since you people are largely reaalllly anti-trans, but you shouldn't just immediately disregard something you don't like as "lies". I mean, for yourself. You may be posting this just to sway others and aren't actually so narrow-minded and thick as to actually believe it yourself. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, it's easier to sleep at night assuming most of you are posting disingenuously.

You idiot. The lack of time spent between parents and their adult kids is RARELY the fault of the parents. You never hear of anyone whining that their aging parents never call or want them to visit. It's almost always the other way around.

I swear, every time I come here I feel more and more like an alien who doesn't belong. Some of the opinions I read are the exact opposite of reality as I perceive it. The opposite of how society at large seems to as well.

Someone was dealt a bad hand. I'm sorry. But you shouldn't suggest that most adults had poor parenting from people who treated them like shit. I don't have any numbers (because how do you really study a personal and subjective subject like that?) but I'm quite sure that a small minority of the populace would identify as having come from a "broken home". Even as divorce rates have risen, that doesn't correlate with shitty parenting. Sorry for your luck, but I only know a couple people who had rough childhoods. And that wasn't even the point of my post anyway.

      bruh..

Greentext is a different color from regular text so it's legible without a double linebreak. Also plenty of shows have been spinoffs of spinoffs, it's nothing new in the Television industry.

This franchise has had the weirdest journey, going from quirky millenial sitcom about scientist to now comedy drama about the midwest.

To be fair Big Bang Theory changed a bit during it's tenure; it started as basically nerd blackface Seinfeld, but then turned into Friends 2.5.

Laverne & Shirley and Good Times were both spin-offs of spin-offs. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go eat tapioca pudding and put in my hearing aids.

I don't like these shows, or modern network comedy in general for that matter, but I like that old legacy stuff like this from the days of big TV still do happen. I know most of you are too young to even have been 'cord-cutters', you never embraced television and never will, and you stream or you pirate and you'll never understand or appreciate the rich history of television. You can't wait for TV to just be over with and all the 'boomers' who support it to be gone so it can all be 20 second videos delivered in vertical. But I'm glad Blue Bloods is still airing. I'm glad Jeopardy and Wheel are still going strong. In an age of garbage reality shit and low-effort rerun programming, I'm glad that there's still tradition I remember carrying on. Better than rebooting dead shit a la "Fuller House" IMO.

Georgie and Mandy are a couple that keep following young Sheldon home from school. Mandy is obsessed with Sheldon because she had a miscarriage that left her barren, and wants a son badly. There’s even an episode where Georgie records young Sheldon on a cam corder through his window. It’s one of the more serious moments in the show. But the Sheldon family can’t prove anything because Georgie is a big time attorney and close with the only two judges in their small town. So I assume this new series will be about them adopting or maybe even kidnapping a child.

That is George Jr., Sheldon's older brother. He is played by Jerry O'Connell in later seasons of the The Big Bang Theory, and he's a charismatic tire salesman from Texas. In Young Sheldon he's played by Montana Jackson, and apparently is going to start in this other spinoff about him and Mandy, a woman he gets pregnant and marries. By the time of BBT, Georgie has been divorced.

G&MFM is going to be a laugh track comedy like TBBT which seems like a mistake. The change in tone between TBBT and YS worked because it was a completely different cast in a completely different location during a different time period. I wouldn't mind multi-camera, laugh track sitcoms if the writing was good. Mainstream network comedy (home of most shows like this) is too safe now to appeal to me personally so it may just be over. But there's nothing wrong with the format. The greats like Seinfeld, Cheers, Roseanne, MTM, are all still in heavy rotation in syndication. Even the bad ones! The Parkers, Moesha, Growing Pains, Sister Sister, Full House... those are still cruising on nostalgia momentum alone. I guess. (One channel I have is called Cozi TV) I'm not sure who watches them. Some of those channels broadcast in 480 and look blurry as hell on an HDTV. I guess if you want to enjoy an episode of 227 sped up and edited to fit nine minutes of ads, be my guest.

Is anyone actually expecting canon and continuity from Chuck Lorre productions? I remember several times sitcoms contradicted themselves and I was a bit embarrassed to have been obsessed enough to notice. No one cares if the pieces don't all line up. Comedies on this level are meaningless. Most comedy is meaningless when it comes to largely unconnected details over long spans of time.

Isn't Sheldon a straight character played by a gay? I think it's funny that they're not only stuck with that, but they made another show with a young version of a swishing, foppish, effeminate character and they can't claim it for queer pride or whatever. Now that show is birthing (so to speak) a straight white hetero couple show? At least it's not woke, right?

I may be completely wrong. I've never seen any of them. I just remember the gay dork not being gay I'm pretty sure.

suprisingly there was no woke shit in big bang theory, at most one of the characters had a pride coffe mug in the background that they never acknowledge

Yeah, but the idea of the NEW show being centered on a white, hetero couple raising a baby seems refreshingly old fashioned. CBS is home to Blue Bloods, which I do watch with my silent gen dad, and that's about the most conservative minded show left on TV. The outraged feminist SJW type people who complain about that stuff don't even watch anything like that so it flies under the radar. The type of CBS watchers who would complain about it probably only DVR Colbert's Late Show if anything.

Frick this shit. I really hope there's some sort of "Young Larry" or something similar now that Curb has concluded. He's still too vital ("very, very vital!" -Sour Grapes reference) to fully retire from comedy.
