Hammer managed it. Brides of Dracula is much better than Dracula '58. Revenge of Frankenstein is good.
If you cut out about ten minutes' worth of the mid-film fluff in the prep school and had more a few more Cushing spooks, Brides of Dracula would actually be perfect.
