Countless NDE reports refute this. Some of these experiences are relayed in actual scientific studies you can find via search engines. Official science and official cultural materialism deny the afterlife, of course, which means nothing. Gervais is an apparatchik pushing the atheism agenda, one among many. Your credulous skepticism is tiresome. In a sense believing in the reality of the spiritual is more "skeptical" than unbelief. Atheism/naturalism/materialism is the de facto religion of today's bugman masses.

Yeah this conversation sure is taking off alright. A skeptic can be no better a believer when he is so closed off from experience and dependent on letters without spirit.
Maybe there are weirdo sages with professor X powers with test anxiety. They aren't consequential a concern and a waste for curiousity. But the afterlife, oh boy that is everyone's concern. The salience of your mortality is the meaning you can grasp for life and tug at bonds for those around you to the highest degrees of brave sincerity.

Not true. Some of Colin Wilson's books do a good job of chronicling paranormal studies across modernity, a lot of results were pretty surprising for a lot of different paranormal phenomena. And you know I've had paranormal experiences myself. There's some sort of glowie agenda here, some directive where they have to adamantly deny any vestige or possibility of paranormal proof. You yourself may well be a glowie, and now your script says you have to tell me to take my meds.

Anyway I don't care if you homosexuals believe me, I know what I know. Most people don't have convictions they just passively absord the cultural climate around them. And the cultural climate is entirely manufactured by TPTB.

                Remove organs. Ashes.
Now you see a ghost person capable of speech with no organs. Transparent light man.
Many witnesses including myself. Such is the phenomenon of spirit for beings intelligent enough to communicate in both states. It is falsifiable but not to "science" because human beings do not respect gay nerd behavior frameworks (that are now destroying civilization and family and all honest friendly trustworthy forums).
                Do shooting stars consent?
Ask God. What an answer awaits: none.
Do ghosts consent to being seen?
Probably. They're the best at hiding.

There's actual studies about ESP going back to the 19th century with results pretty much confirming that the phenomenon is real but these studies tend to be aggessively buried or gatekept by official science, particularly from the 1950s onwards. The real science is not for us plebs, you need top secret clearance for the real shit. TPTB know full well that the paranormal is real but right now it's the atheism agenda for the plebs, the only concession towards belief being polite kantian gestures towards some vague, unknowable beyond.
