I just don't get the bending in this show; like sometimes you have to do this flip/dance/flex to control your element other times you might as well have your finger up your ass and your element has already finished cleaning your house for you when you're done.
My suspicion is that he's doing finger movements or something inside his sleeves. I doubt that something as small as pushing a lamp requires much skill or complex movement.

I just assumed skill level means less effort is required in movement and more movement when it comes to more complex or higher volume.
