I saw George Lowe on the local news like maybe earlier this year. At first I thought it was a different George Lowe because he did not have the voice anymore. He's a avid art collector for the reason he was featured, but he had segments on my local news stations too. He's only 65, but the condition that he's in really made things turn for the worse.
This wasn't the report of him I saw because I remember him sounding way worse.
It was a product of its time. When it was airing, there wasn't really anything else like it. While animation for stoners and humor for stoners existed, this was one of the first time that network television animation was produced specifically to target the stoner demographic. A lot of the intentional awkward pacing and idle back and forth banter that would have gotten 'wtf' laughs back then wouldn't really hit the same now that the genre is known, and these tropes are old-hat.
It's fun to revisit if you watched it back in the day, but I can't imagine it would grab people the same way if they saw it for the first time now.
TLDR: It's fun if you've already seen it but if you haven't, you're not missing much.
Space Ghost wasn't really subtle. You might be thinking surreal or maybe absurdist. It was very slow, deliberate comedy without being dry. A more slowed down version of Aqua Teen.
>cking dead!
>VA for Moltar/Zorak died
>Space Ghost's VA might be on his way out, too
🙁
Croker also animated the show.
>Aortic Dissection
Man's extemely lucky to be alive

Him during a segment
I never watched it and I'm tired of pretending I have
I mean you don't have to like it, I'm just saying it's based.
That's unfortunate, it was a great show.

No, it'll still appeal to people because it's a good, funny show.
UNREASONABLE DEMANDS
You didn't make any.
Think again.
Agreed, outside of genndy's stuff as can't/won't make anything good let alone great again.
I miss space ghost
I miss king of the hill
I miss subtle comedy
koth is still on though?

Your son is a moron!
>conan in something that's actually funny
I want a moltar cup
Just make sure to wash it first.
THE BUN IS YOUR MIND
Truly a one of a kind show. King Dead might be one of the funniest pieces of media to have ever been made.
>My navel can hold a quart of bean dip
King Dead is hands down the best episode of the series. It's great from the opening line.
>These aren't my lamps. These have feet.
Have you fellas met Old Kentucky Shark?
Greetings Cinemaphile!
Welcome to my show.
So tell us. What is your super power?
The ability to mimic voices
Seeing the future.
Fire Ant is peak Space Ghost.
Your son just bit me here. I want to know what you're going to do about it.
YOUR SON IS A MORON!
>it's a Space Ghost and Moltar trading punches segment
>perfect blend of adult swim and cartoon network
>did nothing with it
>both as and cn are on their death beds
