>There's a timeline out there where Pryde of the X-Men was the smash hit 90s TV show that influenced millenials around the globe and got a revival in 2024

Thank God that never happened.
And yet no timeline where OP doesn't suck a massive amount of wieners. Interdastjci
I don't like the way they did Nightcrawler
I remember him just teleporting past the Blob was the funniest fricking thing in the world when I was a kid.
KISS were huge.
Probably not. It was too 80's even for the 80's. TMNT basically closed the book on this era of cartoons
Yeah, the tone was really straightforward. Though Pryde's animation blows the 90s X-Men out of the water, I think that's mainly because it was given a higher budget for its pilot
Why do you the 80s so much, homosexual?
Abd "No place to hide/No place to run" is a godly intro.
The arcade game was shit and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't
X-men CotA is better in any way
All 2D games are shit. Gaming only became good starting with the release of the PS1.
You ever had the desire to kick someone's ass so bad?
Yeah, yours

WELCOME TO DIE
>Australian Wolverine
>GI Joe Cyclops
>Toad is a recurring bad guy
>Fricking Dazzler
This thing was almost joined with Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, it's like how the 90s Spider-Man and X-men were linked.
Okay now Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends was pretty 80s
These X-men pop up in a episode of Amazing Friends.
There will never be an X-men show where Colossus is part of the main cast. I fricking hate it.
At least Colossus has a good chance any given time there's a show. Think about how Dazzler fans feel
>Dazzler fans
Didn't they all die in the great AIDS epidemic of the 90s
Naw, she got kill in Genosha by Master Mold.
Frick no, it won't. It would die like many of the 80s cartoon show. Even the OP reek the 80s
The 90s grit is what made Xmen the Animated Series known today. You sure as hell won't see an OP like this
I'd like to think that if this version of the X-men had been greenlit...
I'd like to believe that at some point in the show, maybe halfway through its first season or at the end of a decent first season... In a second season, the series would have begun to mature in terms of plots and script
Maybe approaching to the 90s X-men series we all know...
And possibly with better animation
The animation in Pryde was really good, Juggernaut looked amazing
I had the Pryde vhs as a kid and refused to watch the Fox cartoon, it seemed like such a massive downgrade to me in every way. I couldn’t understand why with x-men being so popular the animation was so much shittier that the other marvel cartoons of the period.
>in every way
Except script and VA
What so good about X-Men anywhere?
If there'd been a successful X-Men cartoon that was basically an 80s action cartoon in the style of Transformers and GI Joe where the X-Men fight Magneto and the Brotherhood in virtually every episode, with each side getting new members in later seasons, and it was popular enough to influence the comics and every later adaptation, we'd have a saner X-Men fandom and the comics wouldn't have gone in the moronic direction they have.
