If he isnt shot there he gets shot somewhere else. The entire point of the show is people who you think are safe are not. The show concludes with the understanding the main character is not safe.

The entire point of the show is a fat guy doing nothing, nothing happening and no one saying anything of value

        >WOKE UP THIS MORNING
        >*overweight slob groans as he rolls his blubber out of bed*
        >*eats a fistful of deli meat in front of the fridge*
        >*fat son does nothing interesting*
        >*balding fat guy cries in therapy*

        What a show.

I don't like it if he was shot. Tony getting shot is the easy way out. Something he doesn't deserve. What he does deserve is to be looking over his shoulder every day, as tense as this scene for every waking moment of his life. That is a true punishment.

One of the most soul crushing moments in the show. Where Christopher realizes that he's completely alone and the people around him think he's a joke.

Christopher has a sensitive, beautiful soul. Sometimes in the moment of passion he beats Adriana or murders somebody. Don't stifle the emotions of this butterfly emerging from his cocoon.

Christopher sold his soul to the devil (Tony) when he turned in Ade.

Christopher was really the best, most affecting character.

This scene where he's just staring at this family at a gas station, thinking about life after Ade tells him she's been a rat is probably my favorite in the whole show:

    Objectively bad Sopranos moments:
    >CGI Livia
    >Adriana never pleading the 5th
    >Furio leaving and never coming back
    >Any time they kill a random civilian for no reason
    >Tony killing Christopher
    >The final cut to black

I feel the Sopranos was a story about learning to communicate, and about a man finally finding purpose, happiness and resilience in dealing with his two "families"

therapy did not work for Tony. it took seasons for him to figure that out. he had learned to cope on his own by the last episode. and it's almost Shakespearian that he is most likely killed in the final scene, in which he is a peace with his loved ones for the first time. had Tony not found this inner strength he may still be alive.

      >it took seasons for him to figure that out
except he never consciously figures it out. his sessions are forcibly ended by melfi. he's a worse person than who he was when the series started.

      >in the final scene, in which he is a peace with his loved ones for the first time
he's not at peace. he's actually in the worst situation of his life with his glorified crew basically irrevocably gutted completely, and with a incredibly likely indictment approaching with one of his capos willing to testify against him. at the same time, he's paranoid as frick, watching the door nonstop, thinking he's gonna get killed too after phil leotardo's messy hit. you're thinking of the end of season one.

        >thinking he's gonna get killed too
why didnt he get suspicious about the single middle aged serious looking guy who kept staring at tony

Sopranos ending is a great intelligence test.
He was obviously shot in the back of the head by the guy in the jacket.

85 IQ: "Members only jacket shot him for New York after they made an arrangement with Paulie and Patsy!"
110 IQ: Jamal Ginsberg punched his fricking lights out.
135 IQ: It was a retaliation hit by THE VIPUHS

doesnt matter who it was. It is obvious the man in the jacket shot him. They even did a sound que to tie in with the running theme of "you dont hear it coming".
        >Door opens, bell rings
        >Door opens, bell rings
        >Door opens, no ring, blackness.

Viewer got shot pleb. Tony looks up and you try to see what he sees through his eyes, but you can't because your time in their world is up. You didn't even hear it coming.

Real life Tony became a rat and wound up in the southern US running a different strip club. Makes no sense for a Mafia boss to be executed. Last time that happened it was some qanon chud who did it.
