Nobody in either pic looks anything like him, racist.

Pixar doesn't have SOUL anymore, they gradually lost it after WALL-E.

You can cope about MUH SOVL all you want but 3 and 4 are objective improvements over 1 and 2. If a movie that looked exactly like 1 came out tomorrow, you wouldn't be singing its praises.

This had to be made by giant teams that produced it somewhat incoherently, just look at it... no small team could give the OK for such abominations, the voice of reasoun would be heard.

This is the product of a soulless corporate environment.

What's the bottom pic from? Something about it looks like a mid/late 00s CG cartoon but with a movie budget if that makes any sense.

Top is from Pixar’s next movie Lightyear
Bottom is from Disney’s next movie Strange World

I was thinking the same thing. They look a bit like they were modeled after subcellular structures.

        >called Strange World
        >released months apart from a Star Trek series called Strange New Worlds
Disney planned this to try and flood the search results with their shitty flick. SAD!

Why do these movies look so ugly? And I'm not just talking about muh black people and computer animation. The artstyle is just unappealing. At least movies like Tangled and Frozen looked nice.

Because people can't draw human bodies anymore. There's that dissertation by the Roger Rabbit guy about how art students prefer using their own body as art over making art that looks plausible.

What kind of crappy super power is sending humanity back to the stone age for 10 million years? We only have 5 billion to be able to create our own stars and get the frick off this rock... I mean all this sincerely. Wtf are we doing.

It's funny that black people replaced aliens in movies.

      Anonymous

You get it in star wars too. There weren't many aliens in the OT for technical reasons, but there were plenty in the prequels save legacy characters + celebrity cameos like Samuel J Jackson and Christopher Lee. However the sequels drastically cut the number of aliens, often just making them 1-time gag characters or background pieces, because Disney views them as a drain on the diversity representation they can have.

    well on the way
    head in the cloud
a man of a thousand voices
    talking perfectly loud
    but nobody ever hears him
or the sound he appears to make
and he never seems to notice
but the fool on the hill
    sees the sun going down
and the eyes in his head
    see the world spinning 'round

They need a token white male to demean and degrade them to lower levels in order to pump the value of Black folk. Just look at the Kenobi show.
