My wife and I have already committed to going to see this movie for one of our date nights. We LOVE Twister (as should everyone). We fully expect this sequel to be awful but we're going anyway.

The first movie felt like it was for everyone, it felt home-y, familiar and down to earth with the cast but this one honestly feels like female gaze-bait.
>Being with this man is like a tornado, its just a totally wild lifestyle, little girl. >Heh, you just don't know WHAT'S going to happen so saddle up and strap in... >Its gonna be a bumpy ride, ma'am. >:)
The soul is gone and you can tell they're really leaning to get that country audience.
It's basically the reverse of the first film.
There the corporate storm chasers were the villains who got killed by being too reckless, here the corporate ones are the protags who must put aside their differences and work with the thrillseekers in order to make it out alive.
Somebody predicted that something that happens every year will happen? That's a pretty good prediction. "Predict" the Sun will rise and you'll always be right.
>tornadoes occur naturally as part of thunderstorms >thunderstorms occur naturally and regularly >the midwestern united states has historically experienced the majority of tornadoes due to its geography
what is a "climate change tornado"?
Twister was one of the most annoying films I've ever watched. Not necessarily bad, competent as a popcorn flick, but fricking annoying. There was not a single character I liked in any aspect.
predictive programming for the next season of tornados?
I predict that this anon:
will soon be hiring a divorce lawyer.
Finger of god

The UK trailer has a different vibe, guess they're just playing up the country stuff to promote the album.
>no marc mancina
>no 90s van halen
disappointing
it's everything i'd expect of a thirty year later "modern" sequel to twister and i hate it so much
Glenn Powell is so good looking that it makes me angry
>Like the older movie, but now with more diversity
Great. Can't wait. Really excited.
>Like the old movie
not even close
Um, the studio making the new movie LITERALLY owns the rights to the old movie, sweaty???
Actually Helen Hunt's idea for a sequel was rejected because it was too diverse and involved killing her character off in the opening scene.
"Alall black and brown storm chasers"
She 100% made that up trying to get woke points.
"It's so cool to have my race replaces by blacks and browns"
What a fricking moron, it must be hard to be forgotten after being famous for a decade.
>There's a fire tornado scene
Cool.
Also apparently this was shot on physical film instead of digital.
>u fancy scientists got all ur scientifical equipment but me, i just like to stick mah dick in the tornaduh the ol fashoined way

Just ignore the frequency and severity of climate change tornadoes happening today

This movie poster reminded me now that Apes is getting middling reviews that holy shit we could get a year of zero hit movies.
For some reason this seems like its gonna be comfy
why do all movie posters look the same nowadays
IT'S LIKE WE'RE HAVING A ROADTRIP!
