Unironically wouldn't expect you to understand. You'd have to know what a Job is, let alone one where you have to perform at the top level with huge pressure on your every move. Focus, determination and great short term memory are needed
pray you never meet a military chef. reheating frozen burger patties and using powdered egg mix while also thinking they individually the beating heart that drives the entire armed forces
>go to five guys >ask for double cheeseburger >but extra cheese >and an extra patty >ketchup only, no other toppings >add extra salt >decline to tip
GET TO WORK WAGIE! I'M A BODYBUILDER AND HAVE MACROS TO MEET
Why would you tip anywhere but a sit-down restaurant? I seriously don't get it. I have never tipped at somewhere you walk in and then leave with your food.
I want to know, in particular, how the FRICK it became legal in America for employers to pay employees below minimum wage if it gets made up for in tips. Because that is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of.
it's only in some states, not California for example.
And the law is if you don't make minimum wage with your tips, the employer has to pay the difference. But basically that just means you then get fired for poor job performance if you don't get tipped enough to make minimum wage
it started as bosses paying their employees less and keeping menu items lower. people would just leave a buck or two on the table to help out the poor waitress. then it evolved into leaving a tip% on how good the service was. Naturally, miserable entitled boomers turned going to a restaurant into an entire ordeal. the waitress has to cater to every little specific thing they want, and kiss their ass. The boomer gets to feel like someone important for the entirety of the visit and and the % they give you is like their grading system (along with the attitude). it basically turned into a power trip for the average person to feel like they are above you for even just a little bit in their shitty lives. tipping needs to go away
you shouldn't, you should tip if the service/meal was good enough that you feel like doing it, acting like tipping is mandatory is just scummy employers avoiding paying a proper wage.
>go to fast food joint >pay with card >card reader asks me for tip amount
I really hate how this is popping up more and more lately. No I will not fricking tip you for making my order, I already paid for that.
I lost a brother in arms to a doctors appointment in the middle of rush hour. I still get sweats hearing the beeps behind me during the drive thru lines. Every night I wake up and get out of the bed worrying that I left a chalupa shell in the deep frier without setting the timer. Civilians don’t understand. They will never understand.
im sorry im just gonna... not use the app
i know it has deals haha
im just gonna stop going to mcdonalds haha
im not gonna use an app to avoid being ripped off
>Under no condition should the CiC (Chef in Charge) compromise restaurant policy due to outside influence.
IHOP field manual 1.68-72.

ngmi.
BASED fellow heavy metal maxxer
sardines and mackerel (from the north atlantic) are among the lowest mercury fish, tuna is the big one people eat too much of.

Lots of civvies here lately, you can really tell
service? call me when your main source of liveable income is going up on a stage in front of strangers every night and MURDERING, or they MURDER you
You're admitting you're a stand up comic?
What a homosexual.
thanks for providing proof that civilians will simply never understand
Yo in Brooklyn there’s these $18-20 italian heroes that are to die for. Lioni’s Italian Heroes, worth the premium.

>order burgah
>costomise it how I want
>it gets served a few minutes later

>$18 burger plus tip
It's sad because it's true. I honestly don't even eat out anymore, I can make it better and for cheaper at home
You're just moronic. I had 2 big macs and medium fries yesterday for 4.69 because I used their bogo and free fries.
