I'm pretty sure zoomers have seen a Ben Stiller turd or two in class or at Uncle Anon's house or something. Only reason we watched this piece of shit in the first place is because 20 years ago Mom bought a Dodgeball DVD from the bargain bin

because zoomers and young millennials like friendship simulator content like streamers or cumtown. they'd rather listen to a couple people phone in a boring convo every week then sit and watch a movie with their actual friends so there's really no market for this type of stuff anymore.

An international company is trying to aquire Globo Gym cast Ronny Cheing to be the guy trying to buy the company. Say some shit like shareholders have lost faith. Trying to find ways to save the company they see the Dodgeball World's all the best teams from around the world. They challenge Ronny Cheing winner takes the gym. Then just write good bits. Maybe have White comeback and secretly be behind the international company as he bought it with nft money or some stupid shit. Movie ends with White betraying the international company when he realizes the plan to cut him out. He finally gets the girl (new girl on team Globo) have her be young with daddy fetish and have him be pure cringe. Open mouth kissing sloppy shit. He reveals he got jacked in secret and has been wearing a body suit or something and he joins the team and helps defeat the international team. He becomes the new "Jared" of Globo. Ronny Cheing ends up homeless and curses his revenge on White and Lafleur

Alot of the jokes can come from the international teams. And bits around the tournament. Set it in a foreign country and have a wild night out scene. Honestly this would be one of the easiest sequels to write.

Wrong. It was because of this site investigating into reviews for video games that the fun is over.

Realistically it's because capeshit and youtube/twitch/tiktok completely took over the market for "lesser" forms of entertainment like goofy comedies. Same reason sitcoms don't really exist anymore. Simple, fun, low-effort viewing is now consumed via lowest-common-denominator Marvel movies or some goober joking around on a subject catered specifically to each viewers niche on Youtube or TikTok or Twitch. Why are today's kids going to watch some comedy about some subject they can't relate to when there are a billion dudes playing the specific video game they like while cracking in-jokes specific to their niche? It costs nothing to make, whatever cost there is is covered by the creators themselves and not some studio, and there's an infinite supply of creators so there's no need for anyone to invest in something with broad appeal. That's my theory at least. What do I know?

This, Marvel movies becoming full of quips meant they filled the role of blockbuster action films as well as mid budget comedies, basically everything that would release in a given summer. In 2 hours of an Avengers movie there's easily 45 minutes of comedy scenes, and you don't have to sit through some trash story to get to them, since the rest of the movie is epic superhero stuff.

Also in the commentary track Ben Stiller gets comically angry at the sound team and they just put on the commentary track for Jennifers Body

Classic comedies were male driven. Any "comedy" made now would have a shoehorned female lead and, since women aren't funny, would inevitably fail.

The broccoli head version of quoting comedy movies is quoting old vines. A few of the older ones will also quote YouTube viral videos from like the 10's but most of the truly old flash-era meme stuff is beyond their time. It's all "put it in reverse terry!", etc.

The end scene of Dodgeball is wild to me because of how sentiments changed. The end bit where she french kisses a woman and says she's a bisexual would be interpreted way differently. Back then it was fricking AWESOME, you get the girl and she's a freaky bisexual that will drag other women into bed with you. Now, Cinemaphile would scream about her being a roastie poly prostitute and how woke shit ruins everything.
