Yikes if they were a little smart they would do promotional photos before with the mask with a white lens this is on the level of the last Marvels poster
We've only gotten two episodes. But it looks to be a pretty good portrayal of Superman with an appropriate tone, and the surrounding cast for better or worse have distinct personalities and strong character.
The plot has only barely started though. And it's difficult to tell where any of the characters or episodes might be heading. But for a start of a show it's pretty neat.
All the differences aside it is reminiscent of Superman TAS because it does succeed at coming across as a genuine Superman cartoon that focuses on Superman and Superman things. So hopefully it will continue to be good.
This is fricking so trash, it legit looks like they bought a cheap dirtbike jumpsuit, painted it yellow and duct taped some knee pads to his shoulders. Why are Hollywood israelites so lazy these days?
I don’t wanna rip on Singer too hard because his X-flicks still hold up better than some capeshit released in the last ten years but frick his costuming to death.
It’s probably so that a Hugh, who’s in his mid 50s now, doesn’t have to get into the kind of shape he was struggling to get in nearly a decade ago during Les Miserables. That wasn’t even a superheroes’s physique.
Dude, he's 53 and just cannot do the super-mass thing. It hurts and exhausting now.
Source: Me [M52] 5'10"still built like brick shithouse, no steroids. USED to cosplay Wolvie & Lobo - cannot do super-mass thing w/out pain. For taller guys it's worse.
>Is Jackman not jacked enough to show his arms, come on
Honestly he probably isn't. IIRC during Logan he was talking about how hard it is to get in superhero shape, and the guy's in his 50's now.
Let me tell you this that at age 26 I followed the full 12 week Wolverine routine his trainer put online. And it was challenging for sure, not just that but time consuming as well, 90 minutes a day of intense weight lifting
And I was in shape for sure, my arms looked great in particular but I didn't look anything like he did and was half his age when I did it
At this point in his life he probably doesn't want to do PEDs because I did that routine natty and the results were not even close to the same
By existing at all it already ruins Logan as a sendoff because it's not a fricking sendoff anymore..
According to the plot rumors, the Wolverine in DP3 is supposed to be from Earth 838 so Logan can remain as a sendoff to the Wolverine from the Fox movies.
>In reality the same actor is playing the same character because he got a check. Stop being moronic.
Same character from a different universe. No one is saying the Black Bolt from the Inhumans show is the exact same person in MoM despite the actor reprising his role.
If in real life I'm seeing Hugh Jackman hanging out and making jokes with Deadpool years after his big dramatic death movie than that death is undone and loses a lot of it's weight, regardless of whatever in universe justifications they make. In real life I got to see more Wolverine having a good time, it's not a send off anymore.
NTA but my question is this: Would you be okay with it if Wolverine was played by someone else? We have more cohesion in comic properties than we did some decades back but I'm sure you can consider the possibilities of having a character return some years down the line.
The MCU reusing the Fox actors to reprise their X-Men roles doesn't help their projected trajectory of solely relying on nostalgia and fanservice to maintain their audiences because no one really gives a shit about the new heroes.

But I'm talking about if it would be better if someone else had stepped in as Logan instead of Hugh, while also entertaining the idea that characters probably can and will return in general.

I would like to see new takes on the X-Men rather than constantly going back to the old Fox cast.
I’m so sick of you secondaries treating that movie like it’s anything but dogshit.
None of those solo movies were wolverine, they were awful hugh Jackman OC action flicks. The Bourne trilogy is a more faithful adaptation ffs and that shit might as well have been named anything else.
Logan works as a separate story but it fricking sucks as a send off. Killing a character like that fricking sucks. Would it hurt to end the saga like in DoFP? That was a good send off because it showed everyone got their happy ending. Their struggle actually meant something. That is what the audience really wants.
I want Wolverine to suffer, like Batman or Daredevil. That's honestly one of the main appeals of these types of characters, the grim and grittiness, the edge. I don't want them to have happy endings, it doesn't interest me in these cases.
I mean their struggle was always trying to achieve peace between humanity and mutants, which they did in Logan. Also why are people so averse to heroes having an emotional death nowadays?
They all died and the few that didn't fled the country. It's not really a victory, which doesn't bother me it was a great movie, but I don't think you can call poisoned by corn syrup a win.
Most of the X-Men died because of Charles' seizure, the rest of the students were injured but apparently survived. The film is also literally about Logan saving a whole new generation of mutants so they can live on.
>In 2029, no mutants have been born in 25 years
Mutants are almost extinct, they got killed by Monsanto. Most of the ones we see are old men or escaped experiments. It ends in a moment of hope but that's not because the X-men achieved any of their goals or because the world is in a good place or anything.
DOFP works as a sendoff to the X-Men but not to Wolverine, who literally gets shafted by the end of the film. I think Logan does a lot of justice to the fact that the mc has gone through so much and suffered over and over again that he finally gets his rest while still managing to go out like a hero. A bittersweet ending is appropriate for his character.
Deadpool time traveling to derail Logan's death so he could have adventures with Wolverine is the kind of idea that people shit on Reddit for suggesting
So one reason this kinda sucks for me is something only a brazillian monkey like me would care about. Wolverine's most well known dub actor here is Isaac Bardavid, who played him in all the movies and the 90s animated series and who unfortunately died last year.
Having Logan be his final time playing the character feels right, so not only is Jackman needlessly returning, but they're gonna have to replace the guy who dubbed him in all the previous X-Men/Wolverine movies, so its kind of a double slap to the face.
Frick Hugh jackman. >durrr wolverine would never wear yellow m8 that’s silly >what’s that Disney said they’ll blacklist me? >okay but can it have sleeves?
logan was not old man logan in the fricking slightest. they are NOTHING alike and it was false advertising for jackman to unveil the film at that con with the words "old. man. logan.". what a shitty fricking movie
What I don't understand is that "dark" and "gritty" Dark Knight had Joker wear a gaudy purple suit like it's nothing but "fun" and "family-friendly" MCU shit still tries to avoid color. This and High Evolutionary seem to be a step in the right direction at least, even if I don't like this Wolverine suit.
And I'm willing to bet they'll make "yellow spandex" joke again, anyway.
>So what’s the difference in the dynamic with wolverine and dead pool compared to Cable and dead pool?
I think my experience with Deadpool and Wolverine is that Wolverine is more of a do what you're told type of thing and Deadpool is more the one to point out how fricked up the situation is.
It's weird that, of all the multiverse entries we've gotten in the MCU so far, the first to actually acknowledge and directly tie into Loki was Deadpool 3
I meant more the TVA and their established rules, like variants are the official term in the MCU for alternate versions of characters but only one entry has actually used it so far. What If and Ms. Marvel also features time travel but they contradict Loki.
He's probably not going to kill them but rather team up with them so they can get their Andrew Garfield redemptions and everyone will start pretending that they always liked the Elektra movie.
One thing that will be missed will be the fight scenes, DP2 had some great action because the director worked on John Wick but they replaced him with Shawn Levy for DP3, the same guy who directed Free Guy.
deadpools suit is sick, like he jumped out of a comic book
wolvies suit is an mcu bastardisation of his OG. i will still go see the film when it releases
Wolverine's suit looks more or less the same as his Astonishing X-Men suit, the biggest difference being the inclusion of sleeves. It's obviously got a little more detail than the comics, but so does Deadpool. I would hardly say it is an MCU level bastardization.
I hope Wolverine gets the mask, it has the same white eyes as Deadpool's & he doesn't take it off or lose it in less than 3 minutes. This movie will probably be a much better multiverse of madness but still mid at best considering the writers. Still though, if we can just have something good out of it then I'll be happy.
It's beautiful. I hope he has the mask too.
He will

Yikes if they were a little smart they would do promotional photos before with the mask with a white lens this is on the level of the last Marvels poster
No mask, no buy
now we know why they didn't do it before
Million dollar movie and a youtube cosplay looks better
nope.
and too bad i can't even say nice ass.
Maybe if you posted a better pic of the suit
>coomer thinks sex appeal makes a design better
Lol
Is this series any good? The threads for it are just seething about israelites and Black folk or east vs west bullshit.
We've only gotten two episodes. But it looks to be a pretty good portrayal of Superman with an appropriate tone, and the surrounding cast for better or worse have distinct personalities and strong character.

Hugh looks like Catman more than Wolverine
The color distribution is dog shit.
Is this official?!
Yes
the other pic in the other thread has mugen(?) sprites lol
I don’t wanna rip on Singer too hard because his X-flicks still hold up better than some capeshit released in the last ten years but frick his costuming to death.
>I don't want to rip on that pedo rapist too hard
Ok.
His directing, you SJW dipshit.
>don't be mean to the child rapist you SJW!!
Kek?
What does SJW have to do with shitting on a pedophile?
Nothing wrong with wearing yellow in a movie as long as it's looks decent. Making it a duller yellow probably offsets how much it stands out.
Logan was never going to hide his fricking arms
but is Disney uh?
It’s probably so that a Hugh, who’s in his mid 50s now, doesn’t have to get into the kind of shape he was struggling to get in nearly a decade ago during Les Miserables. That wasn’t even a superheroes’s physique.
I have never cared for the yellow suit and frankly I thought you guys were joking all this time. Logan looks way better without it.
Looks like shit. Comic outfits don't always look good in live action.
Depends on who does it, Aquaman has the best costumes so far, but all the MCU costumes are awful
littrally looks like a knockoff MCU costume
It depends in how much effort your artists and costume makers are willing to put into it
looks great, hope they don't frick up the mask like they did with the last Thor.
>no mask
>not 5'3"
>No bare arms
I prefer the brown suit anyway.
>no mask
It’s confirmed we’re getting that
>not 5'3"
who cares? it’s hugh frickin’ jackman.
>No bare arms
i agree with this. that’s lame.
>it’s hugh frickin’ jackman.
Where? I can only see PRISONER 24601
And I’M JAVERT
dammit anon, made me sang.
Your time is up and your time is up AND YOUR TIME IS UP!
Remember, he actuality IS NOT meta-human.
He can afford TRT and stem cells like Ronnie Coleman
He chose not to
Look up ex-Olympia like Dorian Yates- now suffering from chronic steroid use.
He chose not to, because he's not an idiot like you- expecting someone to risk their health over a stupid movie.
I don't like the sleeves. Looks fine though. I'm surprised this many people care at this point though.
>Cinemaphile finally gets what it says it wanted
>realizes it’s not what it wanted at all
many such cases
8 pm in India, which means it's DCucks' hours.
mustard and ketchup together forever!
And his mask?
Confirmed he'll have it
No dice
Gotta save something for the movie or trailer
The sleeves throw everything off and it's not a straight comic rip like Deadpool's
Is Jackman not jacked enough to show his arms, come on
It's closest to Astonishing
Does his healing factor fix his bone claws if they break?
yes, what is this question, it fixes all his bones over time.
I believe they've been broken multiple times in the comics
eeeeeeeeeeeeeee
do you have other marvel character infographics as well? or any character per se?
Classic yellow is iconic and all, but for me it's brown.
>Is Jackman not jacked enough to show his arms, come on
Honestly he probably isn't. IIRC during Logan he was talking about how hard it is to get in superhero shape, and the guy's in his 50's now.

>the homosexual actually preferred yellow spandex
Real question is if this film will ruin Logan as a sendoff
logan sucks and james mangold is a israelite
Reynolds & Jackman already addressed in the announcement video that it won't. Logan was always in it's own "bad future" alternate timeline
According to the plot rumors, the Wolverine in DP3 is supposed to be from Earth 838 so Logan can remain as a sendoff to the Wolverine from the Fox movies.
In reality the same actor is playing the same character because he got a check. Stop being moronic.
Yes, we know you were told to say this, shill. It was already on Twitter.
>In reality the same actor is playing the same character because he got a check. Stop being moronic.
Same character from a different universe. No one is saying the Black Bolt from the Inhumans show is the exact same person in MoM despite the actor reprising his role.
NTA but the point he's trying to make is that Hugh returned to play Logan at all and feels like it ruins the "sendoff" of Logan or whatever.
JUST LIKE MY COMIC BOOKS
they already ruined that in the comics by bringing Old Man Logan to the main timeline.
If in real life I'm seeing Hugh Jackman hanging out and making jokes with Deadpool years after his big dramatic death movie than that death is undone and loses a lot of it's weight, regardless of whatever in universe justifications they make. Where the frick are all those anons who argued against me on this
Died along with all the other mutants

Having Hugh appear as actual Wolverine and going on a fun adventure only makes Logan better imo

Good start.
Now make him about a foot and a half shorter.
Clearer pic
Frick Hugh jackman.
>durrr wolverine would never wear yellow m8 that’s silly
>what’s that Disney said they’ll blacklist me?
>okay but can it have sleeves?
I can’t explain it but something about him looks so fricking stupid
Have they changed the Deadpool costume at all, or is it still the same as it was in the first movie?
Oh boy you gotta update your cosplay!! Loser
Strange response, but here's your (You)
Too much, make him shoulder height to Reynolds
That's Puck, not Bub.
Whats the chance we get sleeveless via battle damage?
this looks fricking moronic this is why comic accurate designs shouldn't be in movies
Too late.
HD
Logan's suit it's too baggy and he totally should shave that redneck trucker beard, also would look better without the long sleeves
Jackman is too thin, Logan is not that skeleton
I hope this Wolverine die for good this time
logan was not old man logan in the fricking slightest. they are NOTHING alike and it was false advertising for jackman to unveil the film at that con with the words "old. man. logan.". what a shitty fricking movie
Why so mad?
Is that you, Millar?
The movie not being Old Man Logan is a good thing because that comic fricking sucks
>The movie not being [insert Millar comic] is a good thing because that comic fricking sucks
You just described Millar adaptations in a nutshell.
Should have just gone with the Outback Era or All-New Marvel Now costume, orange/brown would have probably been a lot easier on the eyes.
Remember Hugh doesn't just put on a costume. Wolverine is a commitment.
What's wrong with the veins on his leg?
So what’s the difference in the dynamic with wolverine and dead pool compared to Cable and dead pool?
>So what’s the difference in the dynamic with wolverine and dead pool compared to Cable and dead pool?
I think my experience with Deadpool and Wolverine is that Wolverine is more of a do what you're told type of thing and Deadpool is more the one to point out how fricked up the situation is.
Will they kiss?
It's weird that, of all the multiverse entries we've gotten in the MCU so far, the first to actually acknowledge and directly tie into Loki was Deadpool 3
Ant Man 3 literally sets up Loki Season 2 in its end credits stinger
I meant more the TVA and their established rules, like variants are the official term in the MCU for alternate versions of characters but only one entry has actually used it so far. What If and Ms. Marvel also features time travel but they contradict Loki.
So Is it Deadpool kills the FoxCU or not?
Nope.
Then what's the point?
Deadpool going to those universes and killing the fox characters is worth it from a pure trolling standpoint
He's probably not going to kill them but rather team up with them so they can get their Andrew Garfield redemptions and everyone will start pretending that they always liked the Elektra movie.
No it’s Deadpool and Wolverine vs 838 Magneto
One thing that will be missed will be the fight scenes, DP2 had some great action because the director worked on John Wick but they replaced him with Shawn Levy for DP3, the same guy who directed Free Guy.
Looks like shit
now wait for Storm, Jean and Cyclops to wear the same variation of that shit Fox costume
I would be so fricking mad if they did this, but I can see it happening because Deadpool decides Logan needs an upgrade for his suit.
M&M live-action movie is looking good
more like ketchup & mustard
what about sektor and cyrax?
>reposting from reddit
>not even bothering to crop out the watermark or change the filename
You disgust me
>uses a shithole like Twitter
>complains about a shithole like reddit
>while posting in a shithole like Cinemaphile
I don't use Twitter though
One point of yours is wrong, therefore your whole argument is invalid. QED.
reddit is better than Cinemaphile
deadpools suit is sick, like he jumped out of a comic book

Wolverines suit just looks like Hugh takes his dirt biking too seriously
so the Cinemaphile leaks were real?
I hope Wolverine gets the mask, it has the same white eyes as Deadpool's & he doesn't take it off or lose it in less than 3 minutes. This movie will probably be a much better multiverse of madness but still mid at best considering the writers. Still though, if we can just have something good out of it then I'll be happy.
his sleeves will probably rip sometime in the movie and deadpool will make a joke like oh wow wolvie you look so much better that way haha
bright yellow never looks good.
Looks really bad.
Lookin good
>not a manlet
Ruins it man they should have never casted him, to think we almost got Danzig. Well you think he's gonna wear the mask too?
