Pretty girls in general aren't acting or in acting classes anymore because they can be famous with just a tiktok and insta account. The only ones that Hollywood can get nowadays are ugly theater kids and those that tick political boxes.
Would have actually been a cool implementation of technological capabilities advancing for the first order if they wouldn’t have already proven the first order had unlimited resources of an absurd level for no explainable reason. Seeing new fights, enemies, ships, that stuff was always cool and fun. Only Disney could make something like that feel ham-fisted and irrelevant.
I still think they should have kept that First Order Death Star base a looming threat over the course of the trilogy, I kind of liked the idea of it being a fully terraformed planet and thought it’d be neat to see everyday life on there.
It was clear in TFA that the FO was basically space ISIS hence the heavy emphasis on indoctrination and everyone calling Finn a traitor. Rian Johnson fricked that up by making them literally the Empire
