Even if OP is a homosexual, I will answer his question. Modern Gundam designs simply aren't as fun as they used to be. Gundam designs always blended absurdity with believability in a way that stood out from the rest, each mobile suit had a clear factional identity and they were always experimenting (much like actual military weapons). IBO did things decently but at the end of the day every robot had the same general feel to them. WfM, on the other hand, is filled with half-baked designs that ultimately feel like toys more than anything else. WfM doesn't experiment, it doesn't blend military realism with colorful robot absurdity, and it doesn't try hard enough to stand out. Honestly, WfM designs try to look cool over anything else. The guy that designed the mobile suits is talented, and the designs aren't technically terrible, but so much more could've been done for WfM. Did that show even have mobile armors?
00 is where this decline started, it seemed more like Full Metal Panic than Gundam. Age and to a much lesser extent G-Reco tried, but by Felcher Gundam everything sort of blended into itself and took things way too seriously too damn often. Similar to how most Godzilla movies since Godzilla vs. Megaguirus has humans trying too hard to be serious/hubris/melancholy without rest. The only major franchise still kicking that doesn't do this shit is Jurassic World. Yes, I will get the drinking bleach out for the utter WTF I just typed and posted here, but it's fricking true. I remember Owen Grady and his silly hand out technique, I don't remember any minor character from Woke From Mercury.

Shame on me for thinking it was all the same guy. Inata's probably the best in that lineup because the AC-esque proportions stick out the most. Honestly the fact that they're all bipeds with little to no quirks weighs all the designs down. The Dilanza with the feather is cool, but it isn't really worth it when the legs are some of the worst I've ever seen.

look at Gundams and totally not Gundam that Tomino makes on his own terms as the years go by. He definitely has a vision for the progress of UC suits that is wildly different to what banrise lets him do for his animes

It's the shift towards more "realistic" designs; insofar as "realistic" bipedal war machine 18+ meters tall is.
It also helps (or doesn't in this case) that Katoki's designs (and redesigns) are very popular, and he's one of the first to slim proportions where viable and adding some mechanical details like panels and exposed elements using his engineering degree for inspiration.
Thus, many other mechanical designers have shifted towards that as well.
The age of fantasy mecha in the style of Nagano, Kobayashi, and others has gradually faded to that of more fantasy-oriented mecha anime, while Gundam has shifted towards more typical war machine designs.
