Tay tay could preform the exorcism during an intermission while executing a costume change, and simultaneously drinking a Diet Pepsi.
blumhouse? more like blunderhouse
>we must combine the power of ALL RELIGIONS in order to exorcise these demons
What were they thinking?
>we must combine the power of ALL RELIGIONS in order to exorcise these demons
I almost want to go to see that ridiculous nonsense
Dont go watch it, the Religion Avengers was just branches of christianity with African voodoo.
So Santeria
Lol did they really? Did they not realize the whole thing that drove the original's success was christian fear?
Yes, the rlm review played the scene. I only made it like 10 min into the review so its somewhere before then
Hm
>take a Cinemaphile post seriously
or
>confirm it by watching anything rlm even for a few minutes
I trust you my brother
It's weird. Part of what made the movie so good was that Blatty was a devout Catholic and Friedkin was an agnostic israeli man who was more fascinated by the concepts of faith, demons, the afterlife etc.
The movie is loved by people of all religions and creeds because it uses Catholicism as the lens to examine the importance of faith in general.
It didn't even comment on other religions in any significant way.
It's like the scene is apologizing for something the first film never actually did.
>It's like the scene is apologizing for something the first film never actually did.
Welcome to current year.
>you can't be right or people won't take you seriously
?
It's honestly disrespectful to what the original meant to people of different religions to be honest. The original film's legacy involved how it inspired generations of film makers to make films of a similar nature based on their own faiths or the myths of their own cultures.
Almost like real religious tolerance would involve mature adults of all creeds to be able to relate to it's core theme of faith regardless of the religion shown
>after they shelled out $400 million for "Franchise"
Who said it was a franchise? It got a couple money grubbing sequels that never took off anywhere near the original's level, how the frick is that a "franchise"?
>Who said it was a franchise? It got a couple money grubbing sequels that never took off anywhere near the original's level, how the frick is that a "franchise"?
There were two sequels, one in 1977 and one in 1990, and two prequels, in 2004 and 2005, (it was supposed to be one but wound up with two different directors cuts with a bunch of different actors), and a TV show from 2016-2017 that had Geena Davis in it.
Yup, it failed because of Taylor Swift. Nothing to do at all with casting decisions. Yup, demographics had nothing to do with it. Tay Tay did it all.
Learn reading compression. I said they moved it last minute to a week earlier because they were scared or Swift taking their audience
>$27 mill box office vs $400+ mill rights acquisition + $30 budget + marketing
lmao this legitimately might be one of the biggest misfires in film history.

Can't imagine why with writing like this.
LIBERALS CANT CREATE SHIT
its amazing how much they show their colors when the chips are down
>liberals can’t create shit
nobody will take you seriously when you act this moronic
Hollywood is dead
the series is shit and every exorcism movie is the same.
PAZUZU DIES TONIGHT
He fricking won
Afraid of Taylor Swift?
No, I prefer JigC content.
