Been pissed because he'd been duped, chastise his orc commander and continue his plan. He'd also torture merry and pippin until he found out everything they knew which would include at least a vague direction Frodo went and that their plan was to destroy the Ring. Although his plan would be more successful as in this scenario Aragorn's trio would have to try to save the hobbits from Isengard which they would never be able to accomplish and they would have died in the attempt. Gandalf could likely have still mustered Rohan and broken Theodens trance but without Aragorn Saruman would have taken helms deep BUT the rohirrim could have turned and destroyed Isengard in place of the ents, so all in all, it would have helped him out a lot even though they were the wrong hobbits
without aragorn sauron has less credible reason the believe the fellowship aren't planning on destroying the ring. I know sauron technically isn't capable of entertaining such a thought, but he'd be dangerously close to realizing [something closer to] the truth.
