It's so funny to me that people think of Arkham Batman/Arkhamverse as a separate entity at all. I just approached AA as a one-off comic story and just smile and nodded at the weird original approaches in the later arkham games like bald Robin.

they're fun games that capture the feeling of being batman but they rely too much on mystery box bullshit and DCAU nostalgia to have any real substance narratively. also rocksteady is incapable of writing a story without shoving the joker into it. at least WB montreal learned their lesson with origins and kept him out of gotham knights.

I never played either TLOU, but as I understand it, Joel did something pretty monstrous at the end of the first game and his death was the bill coming due for that. Maybe people had some problems with how it was executed but that feels like something that makes sense for that kind of story. This Suicide Squad game feels like a super edgy 'wouldn't it be fricked up if the villains got to kill the heroes' Mark Millar style story. Why anybody would want to play that is fricking beyond me.

The point is that Ellie really was an exception to what they did where her existence really did increase the chances of survival even by a little bit. Even if they distributed a certain amount of the cure it would be something that would create benefits in the long run

The Three Joker's and Harley are the new team for the rest of the game, who call themselves The Squad That Laughs, and then snap Superman out of his brainwashing by tricking him into killing Lois Lane.
Then Superman, enraged, punches Brainiac so hard that time reverses by about a year, Superman is now ready for Braniac, the Justice League isn't dead, and the stress of a now aware Superman putting shit loads of pressure on her and her Task Force X causes Amanda Waller to put on 150lbs.

Then having it reveal that a still alive or older or even just dying Bruce Wayne being the one to help Amanda Waller develop ways to stop or kill the Justice League. Have Bruce sacrifice himself in some stupid but fan-servicey way that sends the character off with a bang.

brainiac has given every league member a healing factor so they regen after a while. Batman will get right back up after his headshot to go hunt the league or is cured from it. There is a cutscene of speaking on the flash resurecting floating around and a bunch of other plot leaks surrounding the next seasons as they come back. Only one to be dead DEAD is wonder woman

I don't think the story of Gotham Knights would make much sense in the Arkhamverse. Unless you retcon 80% of Arkham Knight out of existance.
I don't even know what the story in that game was like. I just mean the concept, if it had been built from the ground up as an Arkham Knight sequel. It's the only type of sequel that even makes sense for that game. Playing as Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood and Catwoman (and/or a non-Barbara Bat-female), protecting Gotham after Bruce and Alfred "died", but occasionally getting clues that they might still be around. With classic Arkham gameplay and at least decent writing. Could be pretty good.
Why not? Just keep the Knightfall protocol ending, age up Barabra and Tim up, have Jason be recruited after a few missions but have him give up on killing. Keep Batman gone.

God of War 3 has you fight the most gods of any entry. Only Ragnarok comes close.
A lot of gods were alrady dead by then, many by Kratos hand no less. Besides, Kratos’s beef was against the Olympian gods, Zeus specifically, and only killed those who stood between him and his revenge. It was never about wiping out the entire pantheon. With that in mind, like the other anon said, Kratos did kill a lot of Gods in that game, plus a Titan or two.
