DUDE
WHAT'S UP
damn I forgot his actor isn’t a child actor.
Why wouldn't he? Maulik still looks as spry as ever. He's just barely pushing 50 and I can't recall his Baljeet voice ever sounding strained in his most recent cameos. Everything's gonna be copacetic.
your falsetto can just die on you. mine did. don't ever take heartburn meds, guys.
So what, you should just let your heart burn?
take tums. Tums never hurt nobody. unless you take so many that you get kidney stones
i'd take that anyday over having a bunch of random glandular systems shut off all at once, for good, but stopping just short of the levels where doctors will treat you because it's still ~technically~ within the range.
hope you enjoy your increased risk of perforated peptic/esophageal ulcers and gastric/esophageal cancer.
from acid? acid can't change your DNA dude.
and if you neutralize it with tums, it's not gonna give you ulcers either
enjoy your completely broken endocrine system. I'm sure you can get by fine without any pituitary, thyroid, or testicle output.
that works too. that's the main ingredient in mylanta, right?
Not a clue, but taking a magnesium supplement like magnesium malate would likely be better than taking any sort of PPI or acid inhibitor. You feeling heartburn/acid reflux is a result of your lower esophageal sphincter not closing, typically because the PH of your stomach acid is too neutral to trigger the closing mechanism or because you lay down immediately after eating, which would weaken the LES and in that case you need to do crunches to tone the muscle again. Magnesium forces the LES to close.
>ypically because the PH of your stomach acid is too neutral to trigger the closing mechanism or because you lay down immediately after eating, which would weaken the LES and in that case you need to do crunches to tone the muscle again. Magnesium forces the LES to close.
how have i been studying heartburn for 25 years and never picked up on this.
I don't think that was the case with me though, I had tons of acid. I think I have a hiatal hernia from making myself burp as a kid. Like I got to the point I could inhale directly into the stomach and burp on command. Won a lot of contests. but there are certain sensations down there that make me think the tubes ain't quite lined up right.
... hey wait a minute, this isn't Cinemaphile
uh, what if Doof built a heartburninator and Perry beat him with a bunch of nonbranded antacid tablets.. actually I guess that happened already with the deli-foods episode, but it felt weird that it worked without any steps in between.
It could be that you gave yourself a hiatal hernia and in that case it's massaging and exercise/stretching to get your stomach to drop out of your LES, I think there's videos you can follow for that from others that suffer from it. Wouldn't hurt to try at the very least.
On another note, have they mentioned if they're going to bring back Doof for this new season/series? I get the feeling they're going to be too focused on the school life aspect rather than actual inventions this time around if they're all aged up. I can't see the A/B plot working how it used to in general
shit, I could have done something about this?
it doesn't bug me much anymore unless i try to swallow way too much water at once, but I should look into that. thanks, anon.
Doof is 100% confirmed back, Dan talked about voicing him. The question is, are they going to set this before the finale.. like I hope not, but like you said, not sure how the old dynamic could keep working. Doof needs goals. and right now he's just a guy who knows he'll be Professor Time someday and is trying at being good but is too clumsy. and it would be so like disney to insist on rewinding to the status quo.
Pretty sure it is confirmed to be set in the next summer, so everyone will be a year older.
As for Doof being evil, it's unknown exactly what he'll be doing but we do know at least that he is trapping Perry again because Dan released the first line of Doof for the new season and while I can't find the youtube short at the moment I am pretty sure it included Doof trapping Perry in it. So either he's decided to temporarily resort back to scheming or there's something else at play.
he probably has to capture him to take him to a This Is Your Life
and it'll be a clip show of shit that we never saw.
>set in the next summer
Dan also teased some flashforward stories too
Why don't you just take magnesium
Angry Phineas terrifies me. I hope we see more of that in the revival, but in tiny doses.
only when shit is getting real serious and Candace is failing as the ostensibly more mature older sibling. Phineas is a real man who steps up and takes command when it's important.
I find it kind of funny. I liked the little surprise of him shouting down Candace when she was being fussy about the tricycle. The surprise of it makes it more enjoyable.
Incredible hour-long special. I totally forgot it came out before the movie. This show was always great at making huge events out of things.
Yeah, they really went all out on that special. I'm only just watching the show now after having not really watching Disney Channel when it was airing and man did that special deliver. Heck, if I didn't know there was a whole two other seasons after that special I'd have felt like it would have worked as a good series finale even.
Only reason it can't be finale material is because it literally takes place in the middle of summer. The finale was always bound to be the last day of summer.
yeah but... come on, the show takes place over two summers..
what the frick clay aiken jumpscare
Not just him but also Chaka Khan. What a show.
MOVE IT TRIANGLE HEAD
It's gonna be awkward watching these two now…
speaking of age and dwampyverse, how the frick old is Gretel? Her dad expect her to meet HIM at public places, on her own, but her classroom looks like a kindergarten and she's noticeably smaller than, say, Phineas and Ferb and their friends, who are meant to be 8?
But then they do flashbacks where Kevin is like a third of his current size, but Gretel's the same size and just has a way cuter hairstyle.
oof, yeah..
>how old is Gretel
Waaaay younger than Kevin. That’s about as specific as you need to get.
oh cute!! so that's actually based on something
I always thought she was in elementary school. Somewhere between five and nine years old? As for her dad expecting her to get to him in public place on her ow though, yeah that's just one of those things where cartoon kids are given more agency than they'd ever get in real life. Are Phineas and Ferb supposed to be eight though? I thought they were somewhere around ten or something. Somewhere in middle school was my guess. Especially considering Candace looked pretty young when Phineas was born and she's only fourteen or depending on the season.
I always thought P+F were like 10-11, yeah. young enough to be a bit oblivious to romance but still for their peers to be getting there, and Ferb is a year older I think.
but the 'graduated high school' episode was '10 years later' so..
but when I look back, it does make sense. li'l candace was surely 6 in that flashback. and a lot of their childish naivete would be a little unusual once you hit double digits.
They were supposed to be between 9 and 12 years old if I remember right; Act Your Age was what set them to 8.
According to the Disney+ description, Gretel is 9 years old.
This is also why I believe Phineas and Ferb and their friends are supposed to be 10 instead 8, much like what's presented in Quantum Boogaloo. Gretel looks much younger than Phineas and Ferb, how is she supposed to be older than them?
If we ever get a Phineas and Ferb + Hamster and Gretel crossover we'll get to see them together which should help determine their age difference.
>According to the Disney+ description
Not reliable at all. The Big City Greens creators don't like labeling the two main kids with specific numerical ages, yet plenty of Official Series Synopses claim Cricket is "10 years old." Marketing teams LOVE forcing that in their show descriptions for some reason.
While that last part is definitely true to a fault, I'm more inclined to believe that Gretel is in fact 9. Especially since the Disney+ description came after an even more blatant mistake from social media that Dan Povenmire actually caught, which called Gretel a TEENAGER or something
Will the cartoon versions of themselves go through divorce?
you know i'm a little confused
since when was dan married happily for 20 years? I thought the whole deal was "we wanted to feature divorced couples and blended families because I'm one of those" and I assumed his latina wife was not the mother of his redheaded children.. like they had a stepmom too, like okay sure. but now I find out she's the mom? and so is gretel and kevin's mom??
I doubt he'd do that. I know he bases some of these characters and ideas on his own life but being so direct would be a bit much. I also really doubt Disney would let him outright show a divorce in a show of theirs.
I wonder what if that's going to effect any of his plans for later Hamster and Gretel stuff.
at least i bet he's glad he didn't voice the guy based on him
You know, I had wondered about that. Does Dan voice anyone in the series? Sort of felt like if he was going to voice anyone he would have voiced the dad what with Gretel based on his daughter so that he doesn't is a little surprising.
He does voice characters, most obviously the male voice in the UFO is him. But he still voices random side characters, including somewhat reoccurring ones.
>male voice in the UFO
Oh wow. I didn't notice that. Well shoot.
and the dad is clearly based on him, it's a guy doing his best Dan voice. and he has a hot latina wife like Dan, this time with more brown (but still has a blonde blue-eyed kid)
just like milo murphy had that underground guy who was obviously a guy doing his best doofenshmirtz.
Yeah this is why you shouldn't self-insert to this extreme, then things get a bit weird when things happen in real life. But I'm sure they won't let the happenings of real life affect the show's canon.
in his defense, you can generally trust a 20 year marriage is gonna keep going.
but yeahh i've had that shit happen to me so many times putting friend-inserts into comics
I mean, there's nothing wrong with it at all to have self-insert stuff, but Dan mentioned in that video that they have been having Marital issues for the past few years. H&G wasn't even fully a concept, so by the time the characters were created and completed, they were going through it in real life. So seems a bit risky to put yourself and your wife in a show and those characters being in love with each other, when in real life it's the opposite. Not sure if it was supposed to be a reassuring sort of thing or a comfort thing, but I'm sure Dan regrets the choice in hindsight.
you know what, maybe that was to show her "hey even while i'm at work, i'm thinking of you"
because it's hard to imagine anything else they could be disagreeing over besides "dan is always working because he has two cartoons and he does a ton of voices and writes a ton of music"
But yeahhhh oops either way.
Yeah, feels like it was a desperate attempt to show her that he still cares. I feel as though maybe she would get jealous of him being around other women, too. Obviously, I could be totally wrong and I'm certain it all boils down to both having faults that neither were willing to change or whatever; in the end, that's all their business. Just hope it doesn't weirdly affect the show, like the wife goes on an extended business trip or some shit.
or changing politics or somesuch. that's probably a big one these days. what else could break up rhea perlman and danny devito after like 40 years?
the real reason women shouldnt vote is because it ruins perfectly good relationships. everything else is secondary to that.
I'm pretty sure they got together in the 70s, not the 1910s.
But one does have to question the logic. Unless women are definitely and conslusively better voters than men, you cannot improve the situation by simply doubling the number of voters.
speaking of DeVito and show revivals, anyone see Little Demon? it was cute as frick. And he got his daughter to voice his daughter.
The divorce announcement still shocked me to my core. I've only ever known Dan Povenmire as a happy family man, so to hear that even he faced marital issues resulting in separation grounded me again. I'm sure all is well, but damn…
not to mention like, sharing his stuff with us.. he'd shared a lot, he's got a pretty unique online presence, but like.. damn, that felt a way.
You know what though, he's gonna get right back up on that horse. The man looks fantastic for 60, he's genuinely nice, he's a good dad... he's probably gonna get some smoking hot 30something wife from like, sweden or something.
True, Dan is a silver fox so I feel certain he could pull any sort of baddie. Not to mention that he has a great personality, so it enhances his attractiveness. Damn when I think about it, pretty much the whole PnF crew is packed with attractive people. Unless I am forgetting, but I don't think anybody is homely on that ship. Guess attractive people attract attractive people. Besides the point, I know that Dan will absolutely not have trouble with finding a potential future mate.
ooooh they frickinnn
Dan is fricking Sombra? Damn, that's a surprise.
Wuh happin? Who are they?
Dave and Carolina. They're Kevin and Gretel's parents, and modeled after Dan Povenmire himself and his (now ex-)wife
>22 year age gap
>Hispanic woman
>Voice actress from Coomerwatch
Damn Povenmire is a kinky old son of a b***h.
I got the feeling that he was sleeping with that Kara person, but could be sowing his seed in multiple fields.
https://youtube.com/shorts/y5KjcTGFfi4?si=KVauZawMg8LrejYf
On another note, I think it'd be funny if in H&G, Belle would claim that "former evil scientist and future inventor of time travel Heinz Doofenshmirtz" has created the Bango-Ru franchise or something, in reference to Karalynn's claim that Dan has created the Minions.
Ducky Mo- Ducky Momo
Dan’s hispanic fetish.
Is Karalynn Dunton Hispanic, too? I'm starting to see a pattern here.
Dan certainly seems to have a favorite type.
MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION:
WILL THEY HAVE THE COURAGE TO MAKE THEM GAY THIS TIME?
My favorite Dwampyverse duo
Even if they don't confirm it, if Baljeet and Buford still act the same way in the new season everyone online is going to call them gay anyway.
This. Phineas and Ferb doesn't need to confirm anything. The subtext and humorous spin on the bully/nerd relationship is enough fuel to keep fans happy, whether it's played straight or ambiguously.
Please please PLEASE don’t let the revival look cheap as hell…
I don't care how it looks
I am concerned for the modern day creeping its way in. I expect one random female NPC talking about her "wife" but any further and I'm going to be fricking depressed, for a really, really long time.
I'm trying to think whether any characters would be recast based on their race, that's a dealbreaker too.
Is Isabella’s voice actress allowed to voice a Mexican israelite? I checked her Wikipedia but all I saw is that she’s a they/them now.
Isabellabros... not like this
NEED EMOSABELLA
big titty emo isabella!
I doubt it will have to much effect on the series.
That is a point to think about. I wouldn't imagine them skimping out on the budget for the show though. A revival of this series of all series I would think would be given whatever it needs to get off the ground and working as best as it possibly can I'd imagine. I'm more interested in seeing what jokes they can still do and what may get changed. I'm hoping Disney gave Povenmire a blank check to do whatever he wants. Seems like he has a lot of sway over there so I'm hopeful things will go well.
it's funny, I used to want cartoons to push the envelope more and show the prudes the door
and now I still want that, but i'm more worried they're going to rebel against.. yknow, me. and everything i've enjoyed for the last 36 years.
I just don't understand why a revival is even needed, Phineas and ferb had a good run and did basically almost everything with the formula they had. Just leave it be
it really, really, really isn't.
but there's nothing else good on disney because all their brown lesbian shows tanked and died, and they see the lasting huge internet hype for PnF
plus Dan and Swampy are still way into it, and that's a great sign. I actually think this hiatus will have done them some good, because you can tell from season 4 they were running low on ideas.. but now they'll be back at it, refreshed.
and presumably girls will still be allowed to wear skirts!
The nonexistent reaction to Hamster & Gretel is yet another example of an established creator not being a good enough sell for something original. People only want more of the same shit, which'll be confirmed once the new PnF season breaks streaming records next year/
what reaction were you expecting in 2023? nobody watches anything.
At the turn of the century you could have new ideas like Futurama or American Dad become new hits, but now? Close Enough, dead. Central Park, dead. Tuca & Bertie, dead. Yet each creator's previous work is still talked about regularly.
Spiritual successors just aren't thing anymore. Now it's all "bring back this, bring back that." I'm not saying Hamster & Gretel is AMAZING, but I do think Phineas and Ferb should just stay dead. It did everything already.
spiritual successors were never a thing
and they never will be until we can take down the big studios and instead sell and fund things on the merits of "by the same guys as X but not a rehash of X"
Disney got nothing but Phineas and Ferb, it's their only non lore show that was huge in decades.
Superhero fatigue also plays a part. I like the characters, but I'd be lying if I said the superhero/secret identity premise feels redundant at this point. There's very little anyone can do with the concept that still feels novel. You have to WOW me with the execution like Moon Girl and Spider-Verse have. Hamster & Gretel's visuals aren't anything to write home about. It's a serviceable cartoon.
This is the main reason I have been hesitant to watch the show. I can't exactly say what the show is all about, since I've obviously not yet engaged myself with it but... I know there's aliens in it? I feel as though the alien aspect should have been more focused upon, like maybe they hand out these random powers to unsuspecting humans and lie to them so the humans can gather to a sports dome and brawl it out, like illegal wiener fighting or some shit. All for pure entertainment purposes. Kinda like the Dark Tournament in Yu Yu Hakusho. I don't know and maybe the final season arc is an alien (I personally would want Meap) coming to earth and having to communicate with Gretel about the alien's ulterior motives. He has to speak to Hamster, having the hamster translate for him since he doesn't have a hold of an Universal Mustache Translator. He could stick Hamster on his face like a mustache. But Gretel has to fight her way through the tournament, and maybe they have to visit Mitch to force him to build an exobody robosuit for Kevin. Meap threatens him with three hours of timeout if he does not comply. They refuse to ask Doof to build the suit, knowing damn well that he has an obsession with installing self-destruct buttons on his inators and such.
let's just say if you watch it, you will not be totally disappointed
This. I had low expectations at first, but it’s a decently fun show actually.
Shame on (you).
Yeah, another thread suggested this to me, saying it's pretty good. I plan to watch it soon while there's still one season. I entrust the people working on this show; they have a pretty great track record so I never expected the show to be bad in the first place. Just one of those things that I gotta make time for. And I'm sure in the PnF revival, there will be some H&G references so would be nice to be able to understand them fully.
What episode is pic related from
I don't know, I just saw someone post this screenshot a while back on social media and it completely peaked my interest.
*piqued
Yeah I'm not the sharpest spoon to dig outta prison with.
Okay, so I just did a bit of extensive research and believe the episode that the Mitch mugshot Easter egg is called, "U.F. Uh-Oh".
>Okay, so I just did a bit of extensive research and believe the episode that the Mitch mugshot Easter egg IS IN, is called, "U.F. Uh-Oh".
Frick, my brain is not here today.
it's already a parody, gretel uses her own name, works with her brother openly.. it's just a comedy that happens to have superhero stuff in it
also superhero fatigue is massively overrepeated when in reality it's just the people who used to make good shit now make bad shit
They already did over 104 summer adventures. We were owed a school setting for a change. Milo Murphy's Law gave us that. Why are opportunities always given to the ones least deserving of it?
they TRIED to give us Doof 101
The thing is, Hamster & Gretel is a boring show. If it were actually good, people would be talking about it
it's the McFarlane pattern. First show was great, second show took a long time to become great, third show is.. supremely watchable, but nothing special. few highs or lows.
Made for enf.
Which Hag character is perfect for enf?
Perfect for ENF, CFNM, CMNF, Flashing.
Okay. My autism is activated looking at that powerline in the background
Yeah, that happens some times. For me it's when I see completely off looking postal vehicles in cartoons. Having worked as a mail man for a while, seeing ones with things like windows in the back just baffles me some times.
I get especially bothered when a character is drawn off model or colored strangely, like this
for example, it bothers me that his cape and shirt's colors are switched around and has red eyes. The other thing that gets my autism going is whenever characters leave the front door open, then never shut it and go off to do whatever is happening in the plot.
yeah background shit does that a lot. of course when I was a kid, shit like that was constant, and often not even in the background.
Frick, even as recently as Adventure Time, our first look at Jungle Princess was using a totally different color scheme. and in her first proper appearance, she just disappeared from group shots.
of course it might actually be an in-universe error, i mean if it's not a photo of Big Mitch but instead a drawing.
I wanna know who thought that was a good idea.
Yeah, I get that background things aren't as much of a priority, but I still get an itch for accuracy. I think that picture is Mitch's mugshot from Chronicles of Meap, has the same letter board scribbled at the bottom.
oh yeahhh. I guess that is meant to be a photo
you know what it reminds me of, in the 90s spider-man when they represented spider-sense using the cheapest method possible instead of animating squiggly lines or pulse effects, just flipping the colors to negative for a second (which looked pretty cool) and then they actually made a toy of that. actually was it negative? or was it just like, swapping the red and black.. hang on..
ohhh I see what they did, they threw a green gel on the lens. So the red turns black, the eyes turn green, the blue gets a bit darker.
It's kinda the same colors, too. Maybe whoever photocopied Mitch's mugshot borrowed the camera from that Spiderman animation. Well, at least it makes for a neat alt costume/skin for Mitch.
I feel like making them blatantly gay for each other would kill the joke of them still having that bully/nerd relationship despite treating each other so nicely. They're frenemies, they like disliking one another.
>They're frenemies, they like disliking one another.
Is that from a song they sang?
The BEST song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zivdhfUjVVA
That's about as likely as them playing Doof x Puss straight. The bully/nerd subversion does its job.
They've both shown attraction to women
Fine, they can be bi.
>Nothin' doin.' My Gramps always taught me, the Van Stomm way is all one or the other. Either you take it in something, or you put it in something
>But Buford, you could tech-nickle-ee insert yourself into both a rectum AND a vegana
>That sounds like a faster route to infections than a dip in the Ganges.
Damn, this honestly dosen't sound too far off from how that would go down.
Has he voiced anything recently? Anything that would use the Baljeet voice?
I didn't know Jonathan was a voice actor
The Problem with Baljeet
Baljeet is voiced by an Indian so it’s okay.
you know I hate to rant and stir shit up, but it broke my damn heart hearing Stacy's voice actress boohooing about how hard it was growing up asian in hawaii, and how hard asian people have it and how that's why they need to be the only ones allowed to voice asians.
i'm not sure why that whole thing hasn't been dismantled yet since they've been hit really hard by the other edge of that sword.
ok cracker
Good ol' Phineas and Ferb thread, filled with discussions of digestive system issues and remedies.
As I kid I couldn't stand that Baljeet, I didn't even realize he was a pajeet
Carolina sexo
she really is pretty foxy
i sort of hate her parenting style but eh
What's wrong with her parenting style?
let's put it this way, by modern parenting standards, she's amazing.
With how many iPad toddlers I see these days, the shit-talking of millennial/zoomer parents feels warranted. It's just sad.
what's really moronic is the accusation of that shit existed over a decade before it was EVER a thing.
and once again, our best and buttholest were like "let's be what we're accused of"
my whole life we were shit on for watching TV, now TV's dead and all that "they're just zombies in front of the screen" is accurate now, unlike back then when we ran around actively, played, and interacted while watching. because the screen was in a room.
This
A kid on an ipad is the same as a kid reading a book back before tv was mainstream.
Same, and i want to see him become angry when it is least expected.
really isn't. but most of that is the content. obviously i don't read actual books anymore, my head being in the way of the light source got old REAL quickly.
i'm raising my kids on old content, dammit
it's gonna be like that brendan fraser movie, but hopefully without the bomb.
the only tricky part is waiting for them to be old enough to really GET clever stuff, because if you see it when you're too young, it ruins the joke forever because it just becomes 'that nonsequitur I memorized'
gotta ease them on up.
i suppose it depends what is being done on the ipad. if theyre just watching reaction vids and playing fortnite then it's shit but if theyre watching informational videos and reading fanfiction or ebooks then is helping the brain grow. not all situations are the same and boils down to the parents needing to moderate and spend equal time with their kids.
ah yeah exactly.
they also need to moderate PROPERLY. instead of treating bad as good and vice versa.
yeah like let's say tiny timmy is in public and he's screeching because his mom and dad won't buy him the skibidi toilet plush and his parents allow him to throw his tantrum because "it's healthy to express emotions" no there's a place and time to express, that's just an excuse because they don't feel like being the bad guy and stepping in.
god, i WISH that was new. but that shit was going on since I was a kid. and we see the results of it now.
little little kids, hysterical women, anyone who is losing their shit understands ONLY violence.
But the fricks who beat their kids/spouses black and blue instead of a single smack, who do it in anger to self-satisfy instead of reluctantly and with held-back tears at having to do it, ruined that and made it damnright illegal in some countries now. I saw a lady on the bus whose kid was just causing hell and messing with everyone else there, and she flat-out said yeah i'd do something about it, but i'd go to jail.
One thing I find funny about TV is, you know, back in the old days, when people were regularly receiving belts (and at school, at that), sitcoms were always very pure and happy and never touched on that. Parents were stern but kindly, and kids always squeaky-clean and obedient, very much like Phineas and Ferb are (since they don't know they're not meant to be creating dangerous shit and their dad is okay with it)
then by the 80s it was all "oooh kids these days, they're so rotten, let's make every tv family have stern, disciplinarian parents but rowdy, unruly kids.. because those totally go together, right?" and now they just have super lax parents who feel helpless to do anything, and kids running fricking wild but learning enough of a lesson in the end that you don't feel too bad about it. Lookin' at you Bob's Burgers.
How is her hand gripping your member if both of them are also gripping your shoulders
3/10 immersion ruined.
>You will never get busted by Candace
it's okay, she is for Jeremy only.
i just like the idea of being "busted" by her.
that didn't really add anything to the post it replied to, but yeah anon!
Not a problem. Just bag Jeremy as well.
She is 15 years old
how old do you think girls are when they bust you
also what planet are you from and what are the chicks like on your planet and how long is your orbital period.
yeahhhh the old days were best. but I still hold that there are 12 good seasons of Bob's. But my standards are not others'
The show started feeling unnecessarily long by Season 8-10, was at its weakest around Season 11, and kind of bounced back after the movie. It's not consistently funny nowadays and still clearly plays it safe, but it does feel more ambitious than it has in years.
Perry is a cute pet haha
yeah I can see that observation, but for me it's all about how much annoying dumb modern shit they piled in
and I stop at recasting characters for being the wrong color. Also, it's one thing to fire jimmy pesto's actor because you don't like him sitting in a chair, but bringing him back and recasting him is douchey.
perry is an ADORABLE pet. I want one.
Perry the Plappypus.
...isn't that Candace in Perry's body?
Yes, yes it is.
People are disgusting, just have to ignore the posts like that and carry on with a separate convo.
you could try joining us back in the 20th century and not being disgusted by normal hetero things
yknow, up to you.
Pretty sure they're more disgusted by the pedo aspect of that AI text, rather than its hereo aspect.
whoosh
>digestion medication

Ooh this is a spicy Dwampyverse thread. What's next?

Failed tumblr sexyman
what do you mean failed that basturd is 1
i have no idea what any of you frickers are talking about
remember the golden age of adventure time era cartoons when we got full-res model sheets and shit, released freely to everyone
cute style
I know a select few people who are actually really into Dakota in a tumblr sexyman kinda way
what would phineas look like when he starts balding? whould it begin from the top of his dome or his fornhead and he look like that president who eletrickuted the key on a kite
I think he's already shaving his back and sides, so if he loses that puff he'll be cuebald, and would have no modification options remaining except to let the back grow out, like Dr. Venture when he went clubbing for like 18 months
>that president
ol' ben was never president but he is kind of an honorary president, and yeah that's another good example. What Arnold Rimmer called the "skullet." a bald mullet.
Didn't they already do a hair growth machine at some point? Turned Candace into an orange orangutan with it. I imagine the two of them won't bald unless they don't bother doing anything about it.
sometimes i realize that of course they're super happy and cheerful at all times. they are aware that, at a moment's notice, with no discernible effort, they can do literally any goddamn thing they want.
Yeah, Phineas and Ferb are pretty much unstoppable and take almost everything in stride.
must be nice..
also explains why Phineas actually has a really short fuse when the one thing he can't control (Candace) doesn't get in line and follow directions. He might be... an interesting father someday.
speaking of, is anyone else worried that candace seems to have possibly divorced jeremy and remarried and gotten Fred as a stepson
curious if anyone saved the 15 episode titles that we're on EIDR for season 5 because Disney privated the info
I recall "Out of Character"?
>Disney privated the info
Is that what's been happening to all those entries? Seemed like a lot of shows with episodes to come had their information removed. If they could have just asked for it to be taken down why would it have taken so long for it to happen?
I don't know it's weird they didn't catch on that people were getting titles for over a year but obviously someone pointed it out and they decided to stop registering them
The Phineas and Ferb Wiki still has them recorded on their Season 5 page; they even have articles for them, even if not all titles are final.
I wouldn't say "privated", more like "completely nuked all entries". I'm certain that these wipes have happened because someone decided to spread this around the internet (and the PnF fandom is big and active, so...)
it could just be they didn't care when molly + other show titles started leaking but they care about PnF since it's one of their actual popular franchise
>one of their actual popular franchise
your presumably accidental use of the singular is quite apt
What would be a funpropriate way for Cavendish and Dakota to show up in new PnF? I actually kinda forgot how their lives ended up. they're working for the MiB kinda guys, right?
Yeah, so maybe... Well, Dakota does have a fascination for the zoo... Hmm, the only smooth buildup I can see with transitioning a scene with them in it is if they get entrapped in Mitch's animal enclosure on his ship. Which is beyond perfect for myself to witness.
>Meap Me in St. Louis
LESGOOOOOO
Frick yeah! Let us the frick go!
Even older ones? That's a surprise. I don't know if I'd say it's entirely because Phineas and Ferb. But it is pretty wild this came now when it did. We've had that site as a resource to see episodes a long time in advance for a couple of years now. Losing that is going to make things a little tricky.
They had to wipe all the episodes so they could continue to conceal the existence of "Kee-kee-kee-kee-kee."
>Picture of Phineas taped onto a framed photograph of herself so it looks like it was a pic of them together
Damn, she really is pathetic, isn't she?
Her gift to Phineas she was working on before Candace barged in was an edited video where she made it sound like he was proposing to her. Yeah, she's desperate.
Same goes for Season 2 of Hamster & Gretel btw; every episode that was registered on the EIDR is recorded on the wiki, but no articles for the eps are made yet.
It's utterly bizarre that we practically know every episode title (preliminary or not) before a single S2 ep has aired. Don't think that was the case with S1 at all.
No half-hour specials?
There's two if you look closely: "The New Adventures of Super Kevin" (mid-season finale) and "Who's Afraid of Mordros the Annihilator?" (season finale)
Ah I see now
>they're actually doing Meap Me in St. Louis
fricking KINO
Milo had some really cute designs.
And some HAWT ones like Veronica or that one teacher with the desk
Veronica is what the show really should have been about
like, the basic premise had legs, but they squashed it immediately by saying everyone but Zack is totally used to it, so the conflict potential is zero. Milo does a few fun inventive things mid-peril, but it's nothing all that interesting.. if there'd been more like, characters who have trained hard against bad luck and seem to actively fight it, that would've been more satisfying
but in the end it was the Cavendish and Dakota show.
The crossing guard was a genius idea for a supporting character. I never got around to watching season 2 tho, so I don’t know if he was underutilized
okay sell me on him because i never really got what he was there for besides just being annoyed and having life shit on him
I feel like the unwarranted self importance thing is funny enough for him, and that he's so uptight/pathetic that his "arch nemesis" is a 13 year old kid who is pretty upbeat overall. I dunno, but I have known people alike to him in real life.
>unwarranted self-importance thing
yes that is pretty good actually. But somehow I don't think christian slater went over the top with the character vocally the way he could have. He doesn't have the same energy some other self-important nobody characters have, like Dan Vs, he was more like Hank Hill when propane comes up. fervent, but not overtly comical.
Yes! I think of that teacher often. She must have many splinters in her poor c**t, tho
Well, if Milo Murphy's Law and Hamster & Gretel have one thing in common, it's cute/hot female character designs. Hot villains in H&G's case.
Not sure, but I do hope for more MML cameos in Hamster & Gretel.
Could be something simple, like Gretel crashing into something while speed-flying in a hurry to save Kevin/Bailey/Hiromi/whatever; she's covered in pistachios and wonders where they're coming from. Cut to a disgruntled Cavendish and a tired Dakota behind a completely broken pistachio stand.
yeah! there's lots of potential. i love how shows like this usually put those cameos into movies playing at the theater.. like you'd see a Doctor Zone one somewhere
the washer hose in the background of Bob's Burgers bugged me for ages til they fixed it
Ah yes, the Dr Zone poster.
>the washer hose in the background of Bob's Burgers
In the kitchen? What was wrong with that? I feel dumb for not even noticing.
the concentric rings around it, aside from the fact that they're floating, they were colored in as if they were solid discs that made even less sense.
THIS is probably what they were going for, but most of the time, in earlier seasons they were haphazardly-colored-in lines, and later on they made them transparent as... probably intended?
Nice catch. The show definitely started looking more polished the longer it ran. It's crazy rewatching a really early episode. Not just because of the cruder visuals, but also because it's actually funny.
Phineas and Ferb deserved a theatrical movie. It rivaled fricking SpongeBob back in its heyday.
Mommy Veronica!
I could never forget Miss Murawski
I loved when she was thirsting for Scott the Undergrounder, she wanted his dirty dicking
he was a desk of a man
Would this be considered a threeway if Ms. Murawski took Scott on top of her desk?
my god she's adorable
They make a cute pair, both crazy in their own ways. Too bad that Scott insists on banging an expired milk carton.
Goofy woman, she's one of my fave MML characters
yes
I hope he's okay with sharing. I would be.
I see you don't understand what I was saying. you have inadvertently used a shibboleth, anon. you've marked yourself as an outsider and then some.
Now that would be a foursome. And oh well, I'm okay with being that.
oh right he had an inanimate waifu too
maybe they could swap
I hope he washes his junk beforehand
That massive schnoz is weirdly cute. She's from Milo's show? Does she show up often or is she a one off?
Yeah she's from MML and shows up more than once. She's one of the teachers. She's usually visibly horny about her desk.
She makes return appearances, but not nearly enough of them.
Wait that was Sarah Chalke doing her voice? Damn, no wonder I kept thinking about Roseanne while working earlier, must had been subconsciously triggered.
Oh shit, I almost forgot about Sabrina Carpenter being Melissa. I have a lot of her recent songs in my playlist and can't believe I didn't realize I was vibing to Melissa all of this time.
Impressive voice cast ngl
Yeah they kinda went all out with that casting, too bad the show just happened to air on Disney XD instead of the main channel around the worst possible timeline. When the show had a storyline (the Pistachio arc and Alien arc), it was pretty good. A few episodes plots were a hit and miss, but overall the show was quite enjoyable and got some laughs out of me. Wish it could have been a more dedicated story-driven show, and have focus on different characters... Which I suppose it sort of also did. Either way, sad that it got cut in such a short time, there was so much potential for this thing. Felt a bit more sci-fi to me, so was also cool to have.
>Diedrich Bader
I love that guy!
Well, I suppose Dan did too, because aside from Milo's dad, not only did Bader also voice that Octalian newscaster (Zorb Zerbavoir) in the MML Season 2 finale, but he also got a role in Candace Against the Universe as one of the cowardly aliens (Borthos), AND two villain characters in Hamster & Gretel (The Imposter, Arthouse).
Milo had so much potential with this cast and they did so little with it. I love Amanda tho.
It showed a lot of promise. I still don't forgive Dan & Swampy for abusing the PnF cameos and references instead of letting Milo feel more standalone, but it's also crazy how Disney was so quick to kill off their show (as well as Craig McCracken's), while doing everything in their power to support Star vs in the same breath.
I feel like that was more of the execs choices to shoehorn PnF characters into it, but yeah it started out with a neat premise and did not need that extra leg to lean on. Unless that was all Danmpy's decision then... People make mistakes. I'm sad that it's never going to be finished off, the show feels like they're giving it the Season 1 Sister From 80s And 90s Sitcom Who Randomly Disappears And Is Never Mentioned Again treatment.
Is this production art or something like that?
I feel like I've heard it was Dwampy's choice, they asked to put Doof in it, then it became the Doofenshow.
Now I'm wondering how he'll be a villain if he IS a villain in the new P&F.
I feel like they would have to introduce a new main villain in the continuation, maybe Doof is more or less an anti-hero, who does whatever he wants. He never was threatening to begin with so he just does his same schtick. Wonder if the character designs will all have sweaters, jackets, and cardigans on.
We need more Amanda appreciation
true, she cute
She shows up a couple of times then? That's cool. She's got a nice design there that hits some good notes for me.
She's literally the hottest Dwampyverse character.
She certainly is a strong contender for it. I've yet to get to her show just yet, but I'm sure looking forward to seeing what voice she has.
Ok, maybe Chip ain't so bad.
Never!
Heck yeah. Keep fighting the good fight anon.
Welp, I guess Porkchop is lurking on these threads too, since I don't recall any WIPs from them have ever been shared around.
̶W̶e̶ ̶n̶e̶e̶d̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶h̶o̶t̶ ̶A̶m̶a̶n̶d̶a̶ ̶L̶o̶p̶e̶z̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶
Sad that MML didn't stand a chance to grow some feet to stand on its own, it really did have a few great ideas. "Island of Lost Dakotas" was one of the coolest things, especially with that sudden KO reveal at the start. The Pistachion saga was also legit. Wonder if some of the characters will at least be recycled in the revival, not in the Brigette background character sort of way neither.
He looks like he takes big fat shits in his friend's houses and doesn't flush, recording their reactions.
there's.. gotta be a balloony gag one can make here.
What if Balloony actually is a rare and very alive creature that came from a balloon planet, and just ended up on Earth when Doof was a kid, crossing paths with him then? Some of the people on that planet just look like
I could see it.
like ironically the face he drew on it really bothered balloony, but the long-lasting spray he used caused him to be unable to gesticulate in balloon alien manner any longer (he was uh, sleeping when little Heinz found him)
but through careful effort, he WAS able to slowly drift on his own
Yeah, the baby balloninytes start out in the most basic form (the one in which Balloony holds). It's a very similar shape to a sperm cell, symbolism for the beginning of life. As they age, they elongate, eventually forming their own identities by choosing a form to twist tie themselves into. Of course, as you have stated, Doof fricked Balloony's metamorphosis over. It's the equivalent of giving a young person drugs and alcohol.
Balloony had a similar beginning on Earth as ET. His family fricked off in their ship, leaving him stranded.
>Drugs and alcohol
i.. never thought i'd see that phrase in the wild. Are you the author of Latawnya the Naughty Horse?
Considering they are actually regularly giving stuff to kids right now that would make a much better metaphor...
It's a blanket statement, drugs can be referred to anything between pharmaceuticals to street drugs. Not sure who that is. I was just thinking of things that stunt growth and all I know is that drugs and alcohol do that.
I understand you now, I thought Latawnya was an erotica author. Well, I suppose there's MSG and red food dye? I don't know, aerosol can huffing?
>msg
also harmless. xenophobia was mostly behind the msg paranoia, which makes me sad because i'm usually in favor of xenophobia
>red dye
i believe the harmful ones have been removed
>aerosol cans
hm depends on the cans. but I don't think any of them stop you growing.. unless they kill you.
See here's the thing anon, not raggin on you, but everyone else here knew what I was talking about.
SKWRRRL IN M'PNATS
AAAAAHHHHHH
Candace really is perfect.
imagine how suckable those nips are.
I mean yeah he'd just undo the front buttons and
I thought that was usually Buford’s job?
Which episode had the "Overload the Grid" instrumental? I know it happened at some point later in the season but I'm drawing a blank on when exactly.
1st episode.
I think you misunderstood my question
no idea
good morning, sirs
>Kate Micucci
Lung cancer is a rough diagnosis.
Jesus… I just saw her announcement. I wish her the best
Whoa, I didn’t realize how nice Sara Murphy's color palette is. I'm waiting on the day we see some Mild-Mannered Gretel cosplay out in the wild
Kevin cosplay would look awesome
