A waste of time imo.
If in Breaking Bad, you liked Skyler's arguments with Walt and her backstabbing parts the most, then you are sure to enjoy watching this.

Great show for the first 2 or 3 seasons followed by a typical streamslop series finale with not one but two (2) car accidents in a single season where a car full of the family is completely totalled but no one is injured

i dropped this show fast, i cant listen to that awful hick accent
its pretty good but a ton of it feels like a waste of time, the mexicans in it are godawful and the redneck mafia pales in comparison to a show like Justified. Bateman hard carries the show but his wife is a much better archetype of a woman like Skylar from BB. The third scene they get a casino boat which I like more than most other people im sure

bateman had the soul to carry it for the first season or two but he could not carry the shitty braindead wife shtick like cranston and BB's story/cast.
if you see someone comparing it to breaking bad you can safely disregard that opinion because that person is simply a moron. They operate on a shallow, basic, normie level of media literacy. Hurr, they are both about drugs and cartels so they are basically the same. And it's bullshit. It's like saying Last of us is the same as Walking Dead. Ozark is nothing like breaking bad. It's much more similar to house of cards
last of us and walking dead are the exact same brand of slop, yes
this guy is right, the main character in Ozark is already deeply entrenched in the cartel and its much more about his family and the local town he lives in, BB is more of a thriller too

Probably the single most unlikable female lead I've ever seen. Can't understand whatsoever how you're supposed to sympathize with the character.
It's got good acting but that's about it. The stories are aimless and choppy, and there seems to be zero overarching plan of where anything is supposed to be going to building to, stuff just happens sequentially for four seasons then it stops.
Ruth is a cute but not much else to say.

That was bullshit, the sexual tension was off the charts. Am I really supposed to buy that a poor redneck with major daddy issues would not latch onto an older man serving as a sort of father figure and want to bang him?
I really thought that's where it was going during S1 especially when she killed her uncles for Marty.

Really good show. Everything was really well placed and the storylines all worked well without getting flabby. Every main actor in it was great too
