This episode was more cringe than anything Rick and Morty ever did. At least Rick and Morty has the vitality of "being enlightened by your own intelligence" and the Yolo spirit, but You're Getting Old acted like it was just a fact of life that you turn into a depressed anhedonic homosexual.
Sounds like a you problem
no
>acted like it was just a fact of life that you turn into a depressed anhedonic homosexual.
It's a more nuanced thing than the episode represented, the real issue with it is that the more your skull holes suck in and retain, the more you've seen, the easier it is to see things coming, to see how shallow most things are, to see the "product" as just what it is, a product
Its the fricking God-given sun!
>It's a more nuanced thing than the episode represented
Worst case scenario you start seeing it everywhere in the way reality is too
Cantankerousness isn't guaranteed from aging it's just highly likely, for the reasons I stated
You see a thing enough times you get sick of seeing it, and anything that even looks like it might be "it"
What the frick would Trey and Matt or you for that matter know about being old?
Much more than you, apparently.
god isn't real. its just a ball of atoms, like infinite other balls of atoms, and not even the best ball of atoms.
I think it reflects well on the typical homosexual who believes that for saying everything is garbage or shit makes him interesting.
>the vitality of "being enlightened by your own intelligence" and the Yolo spirit
Obviously those are memes but at least its upbeat is what I mean. This episode on the other hand was some pussy antinatalist type-shit.
Yeah, I'm not defending Rick and Morty. The whole point of the thread is R&M looks less edgy than Southpark sometimes which means they are both homosexual shit.
why did you watch 20 seasons of both of them then? are you a homosexual?
I stopped watching both ten years ago.
Don't try to reason with conservacuck. You're making too subtle of a distinction for them.
homosexual doesn't get the joke but still thinks he's clever. Always entertaining to watch
aw someone made fun of your edgy bullshit?
I think you missed the part where everyone else around Stan didn't feel the way he did. He became a cynic, which made him a loner. The takeaway wasn't you're definitely going to become it. It was that you definitely don't want to be in his position.
They should’ve used the smashing pumpkins version
idk man. have you heard current music?
some zoomer girl who got hired at my work sent me this song she liked and it was the most god awful european "rap" shit i have ever heard. it was almost like in the episode how stan kept hearing all new music as fart and shit noises.
i guess im just getting old but all new "popular" music that i hear is the absolutely worst shit i have ever heard. it will have like 500 mill views on youtube and just be dogshit.
i can listen to boomer music and appreciate songs but i just dont know anymore.
but that’s not getting old
that’s music getting worse
Not a new thing that people dislike others music. Rap has been a plague thats been going strong for 40 years and may continue to do so until we all die. Just listen to this shit it makes me laugh at how moronic it is along with how much bank these Black folk would have made.
Pop punk is making a pseudo comeback at least. So you can hear Blink 182 and Sum 41 play a bunch of songs that sound like their old stuff at 50% speed.
Youre getting old was kino until they pussied out of doing it, and then becsme retroactively worse when they ended up deciding "actually lmao yeah he does move to a farm later".
This was probably the last real chance they had at keeping South Park from becoming stale and they wasted it. Now its just a flanderized version of itself written by a board of blue haired women while Matt and Trey enjoy unofficial retirement doing shit like buying a resturant theme park and so on.
This, they dont even qualitiy control what SP is like anymore. They just cry about Trump and pump out 6 lazy episodes.
I still don't get the "tegridy" joke.
Like I know it's supposed to be "integrity" but I don't understand what they're making fun of. I don't remember there being some mega political event or wave of people calling for integrity for something.
They live in California so they laughed at southern farmer accent and got annoyed at pot smokers and blamed the farmers. They try and shoehorn Randy being moronic but it isnt really that deep.
That must be why it sucks.
Randy worked better as Stan's dad and not Peter Griffon.
Holy shit cant fathom how I never came to the conclusion that Randy just mutated into Petah, just like how Seth uses his Brian to be the talking piece on what is " good " Randy is what Matt and Trey use as " bad ". Really my biggest complaint is I just wanna laugh at their funny TV show... not sit through a 2023 professers annoying opinions. I only just finished stick of truth and by god that made me feel as though I was watching a great episode that I missed out on, just pure funny with the kids being kids. The last good episode I remember was the Airsoft one and Im certain they used it as a way to air their fustrations of raising teenagers
The airsoft episode was a suprising gem. Hard to beleive such a male positive episode was allowed.
The teen wanting to burn shit with fire and calling him to let him know hes not gay made me kek so fricking hard, it lets me know that they are still able to make gems it just has to come from the heart
It's about how advertisers use concepts like integrity to sell shit to people.
>this is high art according to south park fans
lol
Better than what they are making today thats for sure
cierto
India themed episode?
No joke, if you don't like this episode and like South Park after this, you are, and I mean this sincerely, a complete an utter asshat. And not a cool one like Mr Hankey. Huh. Isn't it interesting the poop comes out of people speaking in that episode instead of a piece of shit creating kindness with his words? They make it VERY clear they are jumping the Steamy Knicks shark. Bye bye Fleetwood coherence, hello Stevie's solo career. Rick and Morty is moronic no soul gobbledyasiatic. This is a great episode and probably how I see the show ending until the day we get a shoehorned Simpsons-tier finale.
I remember the internet troll episode and fake little girl who is an ad with Jimmy show... but really I can't think up one memorable show after this one. And I love South Park.
yeah dude its season 15, it was funny for its time but is filled with tropes. The big message for that episode was drinking while in that state makes you even worse, and now we have the " dont call out israelites for running things like banks or hollywood goy " Trey and Matt got old and lazy, like many a creator of comedy gold turning to comedy old. Hell just reading snippets of what the new season of futarama tells me all I need to know to avoid its slop at all costs. I also love South Park, just not what its creators mutated into
imagine being offended by south park
probably a redditor
I like that episode where Cartman gets his bully's parents killed and then puts their remains in chili and feeds them to him.
I wonder if you would get time for tricking people onto a farmers land just for them to get shot and killed for trespassing
