You clearly misunderstand the mind of a woman. She is fully capable of doing both of those things. She changed her mind disingenuously then immediately made herself believe it going forward. You could tell a woman that she was abused by the guy bagging her groceries because he man-bagged and she will decide to believe it then genuinely start feeling traumatized.

This too, but Laura Dern has always looked older than she is. And not really in a "hit a wall" way, just simply older, like a woman who is reasonably attractive for an age that is her real age + 15, if that makes sense.

This is her with Sam Neill in modern times, sometime around the filming of Jurassic World 3 / Park 6. They still look as if they are roughly the same age.

            Sure, absolutely, but
            1) It's more hassle when ideally basic actions and computer interactions should be as streamlined as possible
            2) The bigger issue is that websites reencode pre-existing jpegs into webp and avif, and a lossy reencode from a lossy source is never a good idea. Like, I understand that we're talking about a random pic to illustrate a point, but there's enough rare and low-res images out there which, for archival purposes, should not be resaved / reencoded. There's a whole bunch of fandom/wikia projects that hosted rare imagery that traces back to the early 00s or so, for example originally released image files of artwork for old games and other such stuff, but then Fandom decided to convert everything to webp, resulting in quality loss. (there's a whole frickton of other problems with hosting stuff on Fandom/Wikia, but that's a tangent)

Her look is a good rough reference for a live-action classic Lara Croft, ironically. Not something to "copy" for Lara, but something to study and take note of what vibes it conveys and how. Shorts don't need to be loose and ass cheek baring (like zoomers often assume by default) to strike a nice balance between comfort and moderate sensuality.

    You missed my point.
In the 2010s, in the era of high-rise/high-waist clothes, the default female shorts started exposing more "underbun" than was previously appropriate. Just regular outdoors shorts, not purpose-made fetish shorts. Therefore, there appeared a rather new notion that shorts are an inherently and unavoidably loose piece of clothing, which cropped up in discussions around Lara very often coming from newer fans of the franchise (people who generally didn't even play the classic games to start with).
