They were in their early 30s canonically. Joey was the youngest one and he was in his late 20s.

All the actors were in their late 30s though.

You’re both wrong. Only Joey turned 30 after the show started. Everyone else was already in their 30s.

No they weren't, what the frick are you talking about? Rachel had an episode in the early 2000s that was focused on her turning 30, the show started in 94.

They explain away Monica and Rachels apartment but what never gets addressed is how the FRICK Chandler can afford this all by himself given Joey never gets a job until like halfway through the show.

No it isn't its extreme cope. People are refusing to grow up and do anything with their lives and blame it on me economy. People aren't having kids because they're scared to stop being teenagers not because they're poor. Poor people have had no problem having kids forever. Women want to suck thousands of wieners, most men can't live up to it and they'd rather stay at home watching Rick and morbius with their funkos. Then the prostitutes age out and panic as they wall and Mr rick is too busy spending his cuckbux on sweatflix

In 2023 it costs $2,850pm to live in the building where they shot Travis' apartment in the east village.
On average NY cabbies make $3,776.17pm in 2023
These numbers were actually more reasonable than I was expecting but I figured I'd post anyway because I already did the research. You probably could afford to live like Travis in 2023 with the 926.17pm you've got left over after rent.

New York has undergone extreme gentrification over the past few decades. Demand overall and in formerly awful neighborhoods has skyrocketed.

That's not that reasonable when you factor in all the other costs of living, and you have to just kind of accept you're never going to retire

      >You probably could afford to live like Travis in 2023 with the 926.17pm you've got left over after rent.
lolno. Was that $3.7k before or after taxes? And what about gas and repair work on the car? Hell, parking the fricking thing in Manhattan overnight is going to eat up that $900/mo
