Gonna get a lot of contrarians telling you it sucks, but yeah it's good. The original game is better though; the art lends to the overcast, creepy tone a lot better than whatever the frick they were trying to do with the anime, and overall it feels more like a stage play with a really heavy focus on character dialogues. Unfortunately it's the last good thing Chiyomaru ever did as he has spent the 15 years since Steins;Gate running the Science Adventure series into the ground. Whatever you do don't watch Steins;Gate 0.
you should read the visual novel instead

Steins;Gate is 100% about playing with stock 2000's Japanese internet stereotypes. If you don't know the cliche to begin with you can't appreciate how Steins;Gate is subverting expectations. And I mean "subverting expectations" sincerely here.
