No, it isn't. Nobody even talks about this shit. Some ancient ass movie made before any of us were even born. Make a better thread and then come back, you fricking homosexual.
It's an old movie from the 60s. I'm nearly 33 and even I haven't watched this. OP even knows nobody watched this because this movie isn't even on the archives. Nobody cares about this pretentious shit of a film. OP is just a crusty homosexual that can't make a decent thread so he has to ragebait to even get a slow modicum of attention. And if you are old enough to have seen this movie as a kid, lmaoing at your life. You'd have to be pushing your 60s at this point.
I read about this movie sonewhere so i downloaded it but never had any desire to see it. So i went to imdb and read all the negative reviews and apparently its just a guy going around convincing this woman that theyve met before and the woman kept saying no
basically the average french new wave pretentious trash with 0 plot and just style over substance
It was a huge influence on Lynch and you should see it for this reason alone; the movie is pretty good regardless, even if slow, and the woman is very hot.
It's a very pretty movie. Very well shot and stylish, but yeah I felt like there was no real plot. Maybe it's an allegory about purgatory, hanging on to the past or some shit.
Lol yeah but I didn't really hate it. I guess you can enjoy the flick if you're in a specific hypnagogic mood and can just take in the scenery without thinking too much. Then you go to bed after it.
This is one of those beautifully shot films that people pretend to like because it's beautifully shot + philosophical bullshit. It's honestly not a good movie.
I promise you less than 3% of Cinemaphile has watched Last Year at Marienbad.
I do wish there were more movies that had its same weird quasi-surreal unsettling vibe. This movie is like a bad dream that never fully goes all the way into being a nightmare.

Holy shit people are young here.

Yes it is.
My guess is that less than 1% of Cinemaphile has seen this. Regardless, it's extremely good.

Maybe its an allegory about purgatory, tedious and excruciating.
Lol yeah but I didn't really hate it. I guess you can enjoy the flick if you're in a specific hypnagogic mood and can just take in the scenery without thinking too much. Then you go to bed after it.
>without thinking too much
If I'm gonna turn my brain off I'm gonna watch a flick
Then watch Marienbad brew
No, the tarkovksy
I think you missed the point of the quads post
eerily fitting

I bet you if the same movie was made in 2023 by jj abram, the people who claim to like it wouldnt like it half as much
Yeah, because it'd already been made 60 years ago
Already happened with Solaris
You people really have terrible taste in movies. Solaris, lynch. All shit.
Not him but Solaris is pretty cool
The Soderbergh version??
I liked Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet but they're really far from being the best movies ever made. I get why people hate his films
yeah, because they're homosexuals
Keep sucking his dick im sure thatll make you more of a man
I hate women
I have yet to finish the whole thing it’s so boring
I'm easily one of the most plebians on Cinemaphile and I liked that film
I have watched this yet can't remember shit from it
There ain't much to remember
I might be retorted
Seriously, the opinions of those who have been Lynched mean nothing to anyone
